terrible play on words from an Elton John song, but Brett Favre is now with the New York Jets.

I haven't seen a thread yet, so I figured I'd start the talk.


And I really dont have much to say. Favre will have the best football team in the state of New York.

Aaron Rodgers will be a good QB for the Packers for at least 3 seasons.


that's about it.

the Buffalo Bills and the NY Giants won't touch the Jets this year.

While I think Favre's decision to jump in with the Jets was just sort of like "Oh well I want to play football and this is the team that makes the most sense" I believe being the vet he is it wont be much trouble to conform... and you've got to think the whole organization is trying to compromise with Brett on almost everything. 10+ wins, playoff ready.

I doubt they make playoffs.

16 years to be at one place is a long time. Things will be a lot different over there on the Jets. He'll be out of his comfort zone for the first time in many years. New faces, new coaches, new players, new system, new field, new stadium, new fans, new division. I think he's going to struggle
