Anyone checked out the news earlier today??? :(

The police & feds searched all over Fammart crackin a huge piracy ring!!! Damn!!! Even all the city's authories & reps were there!!! A gang of people got arrested for sellin all them fake brands & bootlegged cds!!! Damn I havent even set foot on Fambam for a long while!!! :(

The RIAA even filed several lawsuits against them & if the owners get convicted, they all gonna do big time & whats gonna happen, NO MORE FAMMART!!! FUCK!!!...

THATS SUCKS BIGGG ASSS!!!!!! :mad:

HAHA, YEAH I WAS JUST ABOUT TO POST THIS. I JUST SEEN IT ON THE 11:00P.M. NEWS CHANNEL 8 AND 9. I WAS JUST THERE TODAY LIKE AROUND 1:00P.M. AND IT WAS ALL CALM AND QUIET. I GUESS THEY CAME STORMING IN SOMETIME AFTER. DID U SEE JENNIFER IN HANDCUFFS? DAMN I HOPE SEE DOESN'T GET LOCKED UP. I REMEMBER THE RIAA RAIDED FAM MART LIKE 2 OR 3 MONTHS AGO AND FOR A WHOLE WEEK, ALL THE MUSIC BOOTHS INSIDE FAM MART TOOK OFF ALL THEIR MIX TAPES FROM THEIR SHELVES.

THE NEWS REPORTER WAS SAYING THAT SOME OF THE VENDORS THAT GOT ARRESTED WERE GANG MEMBERS. THEY WERE ALSO SAYING LIKE HOW FAM MART IS A HANG OUT FOR GANG MEMBERS (well ok, this is true) AND THAT INNOCENT PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SHOP THERE ARE INTIMIDATED TO GO THERE. THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO HYPE SHIT UP LIKE ALL THIS GANG SHIT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE RAIDS. THERE JUST LOOKING FOR EXCUSES TO TRY AND CLOSE IT DOWN.

I never wish nothin bad on no one..well almost no one, but from my outlook this is a good thang...now before you start gettin all mad at me..let me just say swapmeets are sometimes one of the few outlets for up and coming artist to display there talent.If you all care about this westcoast or san diego movement you all will fill me.If you bootleg a jayz c.d there is a great effect it has on his sales but they still turnin a big profit,If you bootleg a don diego c.d lets just say then artist in this category need every penny to re-up ,put towards promotion,toward studio time ,beats artwork,etc,.

I would never knowingly buy a bootleg of an indy artist..

fuck....are they still open today? i had a shirt made and i already paid for it. thats some bullshit tho either way. they always got what you need no matter what. but sometimes i go wearing the wrong colors i guess and i get dirty looks.

i was trippin when i hit fam mart this past weeked and i seen all the mixtapes & bootlegs for sale cuz i thought they had took them out... shit was bond to happened sometime tryin to slang they fake ass kikos bootlegs for $10.. fucked up though fam marts a dope spot...

dont know eaven what is FAM THING and by the way what is bootlegged?? i listen yesterday @ some of 50 cents interview and they talk some shit about bootleg...sorry guys i am new on this forum or what ever. and i am from Europe so i cant know what does bootleg means :)

...now, hold on...that statement isnt a blatant lie...I know mo'fuckas aint going there saying, "oooh...I can't wait to get there and do some counterfeit business"...but they are going there for the cheap prices, which are only possible do to knock-off brands and bootlegged cd's...ummm...which is counterfeit bidness....

...not to mention blood outside slangin movies that are still in the theaters...don't front like its a blatant lie...
