Webb is now one of three pitchers in mlb history to win his first 8 starts. He's toting a 2.09 ERA and his sinker is looking nastier than ever. He's also added a couple other pitches to his deadly repertoire: curve ball and a changeup.. both sick as FUCK.

I can see him winning 25 games this season

He's had both of those for a minute (but yes, they are both sick).
never the changeup.. he threw the curve last season and maybe the season before, but not nearly as much as this season. its a pitch he really worked on in the summer. He's got a couple more inches of drop to it now and he can locate it much better.

Yes he is!

D-Backs were my favorite to win the WS at the beginning of the season. It's looking very promising for them. Their pitching staff improved and their batting improved. Justin Upton will be a star. Connor Jackson is under the radar. Stephen Drew will be better than his brother J.D. Micah Owings is a great asset even tho he's a pitcher, the man can hit! He holds High School batting records.

HE SHOULD LEAVE THE PIECE OF SHIT D'BACKS AND JOIN THE GIANTS
Our pitching staff isn't all that bad. It's offense that we're dying for.

think about it. If Bengie is our cleanup hitter, we have some serious offensive issues.

Don't blame the manager. Blame upper management. The GM will get the book after the season ends.

They should have started all the young guys last season and let them develop into this coming season. But no, they sign these old worthless fucks.

Velez could be special. He just needs to develop. Same with Fred Lewis. Too bad Franderson got injured.

I thought Webb won his first 8 starts 2 years ago when he won the Cy Young as well? Anyways the D-Backs are still the best team in Baseball recordwise and are going to be decent for quite some time.

I agree B-Webb is dope as fuck! Shoot Cliff Lee for my Indians is off to a great start as well with a 6-0 record and a 0.81 ERA considering that he only had 5 wins last season..... Lee hella surprised me this season and is shitting on Sabathia and Carmona combined!

He's been throwing the CH for awhile now, it's not new. Improved possibly, but not new. Here's a pitch chart of him from 2007 that was extracted from the pitch f/x technology now at every MLB park.

http://www.azsnakepit.com/story/2008/1/3/191/27898

I knew myself not from anything like that, rather from the numerous times I charted him last season when I worked in the front office of the Milwaukee Brewers. The CH of his is a nasty pitch but it's been around awhile (and been nasty for awhile), it's just the sinker is so good that sometimes he'll throw it 80% of the time in a ballgame (which is a crazy high fastball percentage for a starting pitcher, I know it's a sinker, but it's classified as a fastball b/c that's how he throws it), making people forget about his secondary stuff. But the CV & CH have been there for awhile.

He's a special special talent. There is a RHP HS kid from Kentucky this year who will be drafted high with the last name of Webb, but there is no relation.
