this is an example of a feature outshining the artist, it sounds like dude tried to mimick the sound he liked and didnt too good in my opinion. While Rue features pretty much made the song, the main artist attempts to shine and comes off kind of dull if you ask me.
All I see in this video is that Rue is makin moves and getting money..and Im sure to dudes circle of friends this video is a hit...but I find myself saying thing about the song that indicate that the main artist aint cutting it...things like

"damn...that beat is hard"
...or....
" oh shit...Lil Rue ripped it"

dude didnt really impress me with this song...the video quality is good, the video concept and direction take on the same old formula "lets get the homies together and film a video"...using all the same type of shots, angles, scenes and ideas as everyone else trying to do a video.
originality is key and if your not bring anything new to the table...

well, you know

didnt take it as hate at all, yall just speakin what you feel and it is appreciated... thing is, everything has a fan base, and in teez's case, nobody is really making music in stockton, he has a pretty big fan base out there, and is doing his thing. its well understood that all music is not for everyone.

I know he fits in where he raps , but yeah maybe LIL Rue can help you sell a few YOU never want to let a feature outshine you .

Stockton kinda coming up right now I think can learn a lot from San Jose . I lived there till I was 18 ( In San Jose ) & we never had a hip-hop or Rap scene now it major & poppin ....

I think stockton can do that - The plus side is he wasn't on some gang rap , I appreciate " Homeboy Rap " but I think it limits you as an artist ...

player, everybody is makin music in stockton, just like everybody is makin music in sac, frisco, oakland, vallejo.....everybody is makin music and most of its garbage.........

Simpaticone1: Stockton has years of rap music resumes, as far as the 80's and through the golden era, i dont know how much San Jo has prior to the millenium. i only heard of Assassin and Jaz up to that point, but honestly, stockton has nothin to learn from San Jo as far as rap music goes. not hatin, just sayin.......cheap pc equip, and cd-r's damaged the local scene years ago and it hasnt came back, imo. we're not a bay city so we didnt have that to fall back on.......
