CHATSWORTH
A lawsuit was filed Thursday in Chatsworth Superior Court that alleges that a guidance counselor at a Santa Clarita high school guided an underage youth into having sex with her and forcing him to get high by smoking pot.
The complaint was filed in court by the mother of the boy, who is now 16.
The suit alleges that the William S. Hart High School District should have prevented 33-year-old guidance counselor Roselyn Hubble from abusing, molesting and harassing her son while he attended Golden Valley High School.
The alleged sexual liaisons occurred from January through September 2007,
the complaint states.
"During many of these occasions, Hubbell required (the boy) to smoke
marijuana," the suit continues.
The lawsuit, which claims negligence, negligent hiring and sexual battery, is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages.
The school district denied the claim in September, leading to the filing of the lawsuit.
