I didn't know Chambers and Adamek were fighting. Wish I could see that one, they should be cruiserweights.

Good month, boxing on every weekend this month to make up for this ridiculously wack year so far.

LOVE the quadruple header. Very solid card for Showtime. Who y'all got on those fights? I've never watched quillin fight but I'm curious to see if Winky has anything left. I never go for Tarver but I hope he serves Kayode. That Trout/Rodriguez fight is legit too

They've both made more money in one fight in their careers as heavyweights that they did their entire careers at cruiser. There's just no money at cruiser compared to the money there is fighting one division north.

Sadly, I didn't even think about that. Did Chambers make any money at cruiser? They both made their best money by fighting a Klitschko though with a huge price to pay for that for both of them.

Adamek was just really building a big following in NJ (excluding that fight in Poland) even at cruiser though. He woulda made good change at cruiser

Chambers never fought at cruiser ha I was just saying that to make my point. They'll never make the kind of money they're making right now. If Chambers wins this he'll be in line for another title shot which should get him paid, especially considering he was supposed to fight Thompson in an eliminator and Chambers got hurt and they gave Thompson the shot straight away.

I put some money on chambers as soon as it was made since they have his as the underdog and chambers should take adamek fairly easy imo.

as for the quadruple header tarver should win easy lateef is so damn basic, kid chocolate should beat winky but I'm not thrilled about the fight cuz its a style clash and will probably be boring. trout vs rodriguez is the fight of the night gotta go with trout. I don't think I've seen Vusi fight, can't call it.

I think Chambers beats anyone not named Klitschko and is clearly the best American heavyweight fighting right now no matter how much they'd like to hype up other fighters.

What the fuck is Shumenov doing? His last 2 defenses were against William Joppy, Danny Santiago and now Enrique Ornelas.

Some good fights in June. I would love to see Chambers vs. Adamek winner fight Jennings two skilled heavyweights going at it, is always a good thing.

Roy Jones Jr. vs. Dawid Kostecki = WHY Roy you're going to dead in the ring.

I like the way they're moving Jennings right now. With how easy it is to get to a title shot and how easy it is to be forgotten in the division they should take this year to build him up/get him some good ring experience. His last 2 fights were his first 2 actual fights of his career. No point in rushing him into a top contender fight at this point.

.. and Showtime is airing Bika Vs. Davis & Bogere Vs. Leyva on Showtime Xtreme is fucking dope. A 6 fight card.. Showtime Xtreme is the greatest thing ever thought of.

HBO should dump some prelim fights on HBO Latino. Whatever happened to Boxeo de Oro that got aired on there?

that's tight I didn't even know that. this how all cards should be.

and I agree about hbo, especially when they do those faggot ONE FIGHT televised shows, like Williams vs Martinez II comes to mind...quick ko and its over, when I'm sure they could have figured away to air some of the undercard fights.

but I like hershman as the new head guy, I hear he's working on another "super six" tournament which is great considering hbos budget.

I haven't heard of anything.

I was hoping for 160, get all those guys to fight eachother and at the same time elevate their star status to set up a big fight with Sergio Martinez, who other than Chavez jr has no big fights. Peter Quillin, Dmitry Pirog, Gennady Golovkin, Daniel Geale, and maybe N'Jikam. Hardly anyone knows these guys but they are all talented fighters, similar to the original super six and most of them are all stars now.

154 would be great but too hard to pull off and it seems a lot of these guys are starting to fight eachother anyway.

Featherweight/Jr. Featherweight and some other lower classes would be dope too but I doubt HBO would want to do a big "super six" with the little guys.

I think it'll be interesting to see where HBO and Showtime go from here. Hershman laid the groundwork for some great things for boxing if they keep it up at Showtime, and he's obviously a progressive mind with a bigger budget now so I'd love to see what happens at HBO. We've had a crappy year thus far so I'd like to see some serious fights get made this last half of the year.
