I'm going to this fight. This Russian guy looks pretty impressive....

Victor Oganov is "The Destroyer." The World Boxing Organization (WBO) No. 8 super middleweight contender has fought 26 times and knocked out each of his opponents in seven rounds or less personifying his nickname.

Oganov (26-0, 26 KOs), of Syktyvkar, Russia, will look to continue that dominance when he battles former world title challenger Fulgencio Zuniga (19-2-1, 16 KOs), of Padilla, Columbia, for the vacant International Boxing Organization (IBO) super middleweight championship on Saturday, Sept. 1, in a special edition of ShoBox: The New Generation (SHOWTIME, 10 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the West Coast).

In the co-feature, hard-hitting WBO No. 10 junior middleweight contender James Kirkland (19-0, 16 KOs), of Austin, Tex., will continue to make his case for world title contention when he takes on Mohammad Said (22-5-1, 14 KOs), of Secaucus, N.J., by way of Brazil.

I've heard of him, never seen him fight though.

He's from Russia but lives in Australia. His first 15 fights or so were in Russia, the rest in Australia. This is his 2nd US fight. He hasn't fought anyone really good but still, it's an impressive record even if padded. This guy Zuniga he's fighting tonight is probably the best opponent so far...

regardless who he has fought, to have knocked every single opponent out by the 7th round is tyson-esque and quite a feat. those russians are fucking savages.

James Kirkland or whatever his name is looked real good. He's Jr. Middle Weight and that division pretty much sucks so I can see him moving up to the top real quick. I believe he is 20-0, 17 KO's now.

Man, the fucking russian got his ass beat. lol. hella padded record. He actually looked pretty good early rounds, very selective in his punches, and hard punches at that, but the Columbian kind of had a Paul Williams type style which was just to throw nonstop punches. I think the russian realized he couldn't KO him and just shut down after that. Good fight though

Respect to Zuniga.. He can beat a lot of people with that style, but I agree; 26 wins, 26 KOs for Oganov? I can see how he gave some people problems, but he isn't that good. That dude's record was so padded.

The Russian needs to work on his footwork. If he could cut the ring off better and guys against the ropes his power would really help. I thought he had a shot once the other guy started getting so tired.

2-0 did you have good seats? Did we see you on TV?

On a side note, I thought it was dope that Showtime actually showed the ring girls.
