Guzman vs Soto is coming up too, not sure on the date.

But yeah, 2007 has been HUGE for boxing. I was just saying in the hop-winky thread that 2007 should easily beat all previous boxing PPV records. Obviously the de la hoya/mayweather has a lot to do with it but there have been some solid numbers - b-hop/winky sold around 350,000 buys, cotto/judah a lil below that. I'm sure the Pacquiao/Barrera will equal those numbers, if not a lot more, cotto/mosely will do well and of course the mayweather/hatton will be HUGE.

2007 has been great for boxing fans.

BTW, I hope Sergio Mora gets his head knocked off!!! That fucking pussy ass faggot ducked Jermain Taylor and then "retired" saying he's going out as the Michael Jordan of boxing!!! LMAO, fucking fag.

haha, yep he's a certified douchebag. On the Contender he was such a arrogant bitch, and barely beat Manfredo and should have lost the rematch. He would have got slaughtered by Taylor and knew it, then had the nerve to say he was like MJ?!?! haha.

Plus I like Ouma, he has such a tragic and inspiring story:

Kassim Ouma (born December 12, 1978) is a Ugandan boxer. Born into poverty, at the age of six he was kidnapped and forced to join the national resistance army and consequently did not see his family for five years. Ouma shot, killed and engaged in war from age 5, witnessing many friends die beside him. Ouma is the 7th of 13 children, which include 7 brothers and 5 sisters. Only 4 brothers are still alive.

Upon leaving the army, Ouma started boxing and amassed an amateur record of 62 wins and 3 losses. He made the Ugandan national boxing team and was selected to fight at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, but did not attend due to financial difficulties. On a Ugandan national amateur team trip to the United States, Ouma decided to stay to undertake a career as a professional boxer to support his family in Uganda. Ouma won the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Junior Middleweight world title.

Ironically, while in Uganda he was never shot despite being in the army, but when he moved to America, he was shot twice in Florida in December 2002.

His father was beaten to death by the Ugandan Army as punishment for Ouma leaving Uganda. His family lives under constant threats in the African country. The Ouma dream is to provide a better life for his family outside of Uganda.
