Anyone have thoughts?

I think Diego is comin up on the end of his career. He hasnt really been the same (IMO) since that beatdown by Mayweather. But anyhow can i get some takes on it?

He couldnt make weight.
Makes him look like a hypocrite after what happened with Castillo.
Did anyone see his face? He looked like he was about to cry, literally.

He better win this one. I have some good money on him at a 2-1 favorite.

It's ironic after all the shit he talked about Castillo he turns around and can't make weight and loses his belt in the very next fight. He still needs to be 147 or under by noon tomorrow and the fight will still be on. Either way I got Chico in a mid to late TKO.

Corrales comments on weight!
"I pretty much killed myself to be here"
"I grabbed Casamayor’s hand after the weigh-in and apologized," said Diego Corrales after failing to make the 135lb lightweight limit, thus forfeiting his WBC title on the scale. "It’s not something I tried to do. I’ve been trying so hard to drop the weight, I was almost at the point of passing out this morning. Honestly, I’m responsible for my actions. I believe if you make a mistake, you should be punished. I made a mistake and should be punished. When I was at the 147 area a few weeks ago, I knew it might be tough to get down. I got down a bit and thought I might get there, but I just couldn’t crack 142 pounds. Every day, I trained, ate salad and still weighed 142 pounds. I was actually afraid I was going to pass out today – I worked out three times with no food or water. I just got done working out for two hours and only lost half a pound. That pretty much sums it up. I pretty much killed myself to be here at this fight." Corrales' trainer Joe Goossen added, "Monday was his last meal and it was a little bit of tuna and small salad. He’s been sucking on ice chips since."

how in the fuck do they expect these fighters to fight a good fight when theyre starving themselves to make weight?

It's kinda like the Terrell Owens incident. Often times individual's intentionally do things (fake suicide, don't make weight), but play it off as though it was unintended so that others can look at it as the cause of failure if the outcome isn't the one that he/she wanted. Understand?

At any rate, I like Corrales in a unanimous decision maybe even a knockout.

man i had a hard time thinking who would win? at first i was gonna say chico just basicly followed casamayor in the first fight and lost then chico comes back in the second with a better game plan i was gonna say chico would win the 3rd but with his wieght problem and strarvation i don't know if he has the energy?

should be interesting.

it was a pretty good fight but I had diego by one round over casamayor, But damn I didn't know diego was so young he's only 29 shit with all the wars he's been in I just knew he was 32 or 35
