With this article, I had 350 words to sum up Bosko to people who've probably never heard of him. I could have written a piece that was 1000 words, but magazines have limits. Just thought I'd post this for his fans here in the NW forum. Thanks for checking it out and supporting my writing with the time this takes to read.

So many rappers, so little time. The desks of A & R’s and Music Directors across the land are piled high with projects submitted by aspiring MC’s from every corner of the United States and beyond. Somewhere in that stack, a proverbial diamond in the rough resides, except he’s not a “rapper” per se. Rappers come a dime a dozen nowadays.
Meet Bosko. He’s a musician.
Now don’t get it twisted. Of course the man can spit bars. He’s been doin’ his thing on the mic for some years now, however you might be more familiar with his work on the production side. Existing just under the radar, his melodic tracks layered with sick bass lines have coined a Bosko signature sound that keeps his cult fan base begging for more. Even after collaborating with the likes of Kanye West, E-40, Master P and Lil Jon, Bosko is still considered one of the industry’s best kept secrets. Beat after beat, remix after remix, and hook after hook, Bosko stays on the musical grind.
Hooks? Yea, he writes those. He sings them too, and with a voice reminiscent of Donny Hathaway sprinkled with a street edge. Rummage through his repertoire, and you’re also likely to find a Bosko R & B joint guaranteed to drop the draws of honey-dips in every area code. So let’s see here…we have a man who can make beats, sing, write lyrics, rap and network like a champ, plus he’s got a crazy knack for both the talk box and the keyboard.
So, why isn’t he signed?
He has been. A few times actually. The business being what it is, not every deal works out the way it should, but after years of hard work, dedication to his craft, and putting musicianship first, Bosko is poised for a takeover. Yes, he’s been slept on. No, he hasn’t received the attention he should have, but is he bitter? “I do this because I love music,” says Bosko. “Most people will never be able to make even one hot record or garner a single record deal. I’m lucky because I have, and I’ve been able to make this my career despite the occasional pitfalls. As long as I’m making good records, I don’t really worry about it. My time will come.”
Synchronize your watches, suckas. Bosko’s got next.
