i know both cubase and protools come with either a card or module thats connected to the pc.....are theyre bootleg versions of these modules around...?....or a cheaper way to run the program without paying full price?
yeah, but im looking for a cheaper way to use the full version....i can get the programs no problem...but they dont work without the module or card and i wanted a way to bypass it or find a cheaper way to get one....feel me.
You need the interface and pci card to run the full regular version. You could pick up a used MBox for like 300 tho. That really aint shit to be officially up and runnin 32 tracks.
OK, SO IF I COP THE USED MBOX, PROTOOLS WOULD RECOGNIZE IT IF I USED A BURNED COPY OF IT COMPLETE WITH REGISTRATION KEYS/CODES...I JUST CANT REGISTER IT ONLINE RIGHT?
If someone sells you a used MBox they should give you the full version Pro Tools CD that came with it and the serial number to let you use it, I dunno why you'd wanna use a burned one instead...?
Damn, what version of Cubase y'all using? I have the new SX for Mac and there's a USB key you have to plug into the computer in order for the program to run...
