Im hearing rumors right on SD sports talk radio that the Pads are interested in Barry....does anybody know if this is true and if we are,are we close to signing him?
trade to me doesnt make sense......bonds is too old to cover that big field at petco....most padre fans hate him......petco is a pitchers park as well.....but they are thinking about adding him to the roster tho.
it would not be a trade bonds is a free agent. As far as padre fans hating bonds thats until he puts on a padres uniform and gets in that batters box then fans will be cheering for him wanting to see bonds hit the long ball. It will be just like Ron Artest he gets booed in every building but who ever he gets traded to in a few weeks and gets that 1st steal or deffensive stop the fans will be screaming there ass off.

yeah my bad meant to say signing bonds.......as far as people cheering for him,makes sense cause he's reppin your town......i just know for me and a lot of the homies at first that shit woould be weird rooting for him
