^^^greene should've won it, im probably bias though..that fool has defensive skills for days...its funny though cause two padres came in second and third and a former padre (bay) won it
His glove is off the hook, but he needs to swing it a little better at the plate.

I agree with ya, but fuckin Bobby Crosby hit a WHOOPING .236 or sumthin close to that. Thats jus miserable. Guess they couldn't think of no1 else in the AL to win it.

^^^ HE HAD LIKE 20 HOMERS THOUGH, THATS HELLA GOOD FOR A ROOKIE. AND HE BECAME A PRETTY GOOD SHORTSTOP, EARLY IN THE SEASON HE MADE SOME MISTAKES BUT HE PLAYED PRETTY GOOD ALL THROUGH THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON.

^^^only like the third rookie in all of history to get more than 20 homers as a shortstop...

he led all AL Rookies in

hits, doubles, walks, homers, RBI's, and several other statistics...yes, his average was low, but no one else was close, and he was pretty good on defense.

Pretty good my ass...that lil bastard has excellent range and laser cannon for an arm...

But yeah...his offensive numbers(other than the average) were all ridiculous...sav type shit...

that A's commercial is pretty funny, where they tell Crosby theyre making a video game, and so they get him to dress up in the black suit, and they throw him ground balls and shit...make him think its real...

^^^ lmao, yeah I was in the Bay for the summer and I loved that commercial.

I wish Greene still had his old stance he used at Clemson when his feet were like 2 inches apart and he wiggled the bat everywhere. Shit, he hit like .575 that year. Hes already one of the top 3 defensive SS in the NL too

^^^Yeah...aluminum bats and collegiate pitching will allow you to have a bigger swing, and motion to the ball...I'm sure the second he got to SD his batting coach cut out as much pre-swing motion as possible, and cut that big stride down.

haha, yeah I know what youre sayin. At my college 2 years ago my coaches were tryin to change my swing because I didnt have a big enough uppercut and they wanted me to hit a lot of jacks. lol, I actually changed it to make my swing even shorter and flatter, fuck them, Im a contact hitter
