In the past years CC and BB always have cds for $9.99 for the first few hours of Black Friday so I didn't even bother looking at the ads in Thurs. paper. I get to CC at bout 7am and notice the cds weren't cleared out, but I saw how the line snaked around the store to checkout to I just left and went to BB and they too weren't cleared out of cds so I asked the sales guy whats up and he said the only cds on sale for the few hours were the 5 or so that were in the ad...which turned out to be garbage cds. It disappointed me, but Im glad I didnt get up at 5am for it. lol

CC had some deal on a toshiba lap top where if you subscribed to AOL for a year you could get this lap top for $199. It was like 80GB set up decent enough, decent sized screen. Plus a printer and a wireless router.

If i'd have had the money i would have sent my girlfriend over there to get one.

Still not goin out shopping on that day though.

Hell yea...

I rushed the door (fuck a line) at CompUSA for their Midnight Madness Sale and saw a broad fall flat on her face as the mob ran in. Had to elbow a bunch of geeks for a 200GB Seagate HD for $20 and an external 160 for $50. Then I came back home, slept an hr., and got up at 3:30 am for a big-ass Staples sale. Was second in line. Copped a Samsung 19" LCD for 2 bills, a Netgear Super-G router and adapter for 20, a HP glass scanner for 30, 50-packs of DVDs for 3 bucks and a buncha other shit free after rebate. Missed out by a split-second on a 16X dual-layer DVD burner for $20 cuz some old man and 2 broads had reserved the last three and they had them locked behind a case. Wasn't about to jack a senior or 2 girls, so I said fuck it and cashed out on the stuff I had. I hit the sack quick by the time I got home. I love online rebates.
