From UFC.com

For the first time, two Ultimate Fighter® winners will face off. Ultimate Fighter season 2 winner Rashad Evans a 15-0-1 powerhouse wrestler, will take on Ultimate Fighter season 3 winner Michael Bisping, a dangerous striker with a current record of 15-0.

Bisping and Evans - two undefeated light heavyweights - look to break out of the pack and prove they are among the best in the division.

UFC 78 Validation will also feature 8 other explosive fights to be announced soon.

Tickets are on sale to UFC® Fight Club™ members and Newsletter subscribers now through Saturday. The general public can buy tickets starting 10am ET from ticketmaster.com for UFC 78 Validation, Saturday November 17th.

The obvious question - what's up with Tito Ortiz? One fight left on his UFC deal - it was supposed to be the Rashad Evans rematch and then the rumors begin. Dan Henderson? Wanderlei Silva "or Rashad Evans", and now we see Evans is booked to fight Bisping. MMANews.com will get to work on finding out what's going on here. Stick with us!

Wow. That's kinda weak. I'd rather see Bisping v. Hammill II and Ortiz v. Evans II, instead..

Now, they'll both lose steam going into those fights if they ever happen.

Dana will probably put Tito to fight against a raw opponent for his last fight on his contract. I wouldnt be surprised if Tito Ortiz and Rashad Evans become coaches for a future TUF. TUF is based on coaches that have grudges, thats what gets them the TV ratings.

Evans is gonna handle Bisping and in front of a US crowd too. I kind of like this fight way more than Ortiz. I think they gonna come out the gate swingin....

http://ufcmania.com/2007/09/15/ufc-quick-quote-tito-ortiz-to-re-sign-ufc-contract/

“I’ll be re-signing with the UFC and they gave me what I want. I know a lot of other companies that are asking about me and I can’t count how many phone calls I’ve said ‘I can’t talk to you guys anymore,’ because it’s against my contract’…. It’s just one of those things. I think if you look at the history of Ultimate Fighting Championship, and you look at a person or a fighter who’s made more money for the company than any other fighter in the world, my name’s going to be right on top of all those names, way past Liddell, way past Couture because I’ve had a huge draw and a huge fan base that still support me 100 percent, win, lose, or draw.”
