Aftermath Rep Gives The REAL Reason Bishop Lamont Was Dropped From Aftermath [Leaked A Record Without Dr. Dre's Permission]

Here is a direct quote from an Aftermath affiliate:

"Unlike Joel Ortiz or Stat Quo, Bishop Lamont was released from Aftermath due to disloyalty and the fact that he is an idiot. It started in early 2008 when he decided to name himself a spokesperson for Detox, Aftermath, & Dr. Dre. Let's start with his Disloyalty.

Bishop's Single "Grow Up" should have never happened period. The song "Grow Up" was originally intended for Marsha from Floetry and stolen by Bishop. Bishop layed vocals to what the public now knows as "Grow Up" and Dre never liked it. Dre never liked the fact that Bishop did a record he intended for Marsha and Dre thought the mix for the record was awful. Will Dre release a record that is just a loop, synthesizer, and vocals?? No, not after releasing classics like No One Can Do it Better, Chronic, DoggyStyle, Slim Shady LP, or Get Rich or Die Trying.

Knowing that this record wasn't approved by Dre, Idiot Bishop went ahead and begged a personal friend & Interscope employee to leak the unapproved "Grow Up" record to DJ's, with full knowledge that this is being done against the will of Dr. Dre. Now that the record is out, Dr. Dre and the Aftermath staff are furious and calling the Interscope offices to have the record Cease & Deceased before the record spreads across the country after Power 106 in LA plays "Grow Up" and threw the record in rotation. The Interscope employee who leaked Grow Up was almost fired after an impromptu meeting was called in the Interscope building about damage control on the "Grow Up" leak. Bishop knew Dr. Dre never liked Grow Up from the beginning and Bishop never made it clear to his friend/Interscope Employee of the risk that was being taken with this record. Bishop dodged the phone call of his friend/ Interscope employee after the employee found out through Human Resources that disciplinary actions will be held against him for insubordination.

With the success of Grow Up & Mixtape: the Confessional, on the internet & the streets, Bishop took his show on the road to NY to promote the project and to weasel DJ Whoo Kidd to get him a meeting with 50 Cent. (Hence why the Bishop Lamont meets Pimpin Curly video came to youtube and why the public associates the Idiot with G-Unit). Bishop also went on Sirius XM Shade 45 on Angela Yee's & Leah Rose's Lip Service show and went on to say how he "doesn't like the Crack A Bottle" record. Live on Eminem's station here is a supposedly Aftermath artist publicly expressing disapproval of the franchise team player's first single off a highly anticipated project for your record company??? Even in the interview you can hear On Air Personality, Angela Yee saying "hey wait that's my boss" in reference to Eminem while Bishop continues to dig his own grave talking reckless about the "Crack A Bottle" single. Dre or Aftermath never approved of Idiot Bishop crusades & campaigns about Detox across the country throughout the years.

Idiot Bishop Lamont has made a lot of enemies out of those who took personal interest to watching him succeed on the West Coast. He totally snaked DJ Warrior who was a big supporter of his career in the beginning. Bishop always has something negative to say about every other West Coast rapper that isn't himself. From his disloyalty to fellow West Coast artist and even his own crew to his "fake" beef with Game to impress Whoo Kidd with the attempt to woo G-Unit (Then when he sees Game at Ozone Awards, Bishop shows love to Game and Game disses his ass on Crisco Kidd's radio show in Houston the next day) Moral of the story is Phillip Martin or Idiot Bishop Lamont ain't built for the success he's trying to achieve.

I leave this by saying Bishop Lamont is the type of person that will leave the G-Unit building to meet Rick Ross around the corner, without saying where he is going and where he is coming from. Disloyal and not to be trusted. Idiot Bishop had so much to say about Joel Ortiz, at one point, but now look who has the last laugh with the success of SlaughterHouse. Even Stat Quo is back "Detoxing" and about to enjoy some success with Sha Money, digitally. The Interscope employee is still on staff and Dr. Dre has been busy grooming Slim tha Mobster to replace the West Coast Idiot. Had the Idiot Bishop played his position, locked himself in the studio with Dre, and not do everything you seen him do on sites like thisis50.com and on Satellite Radio these last few years, he will still be Dre's Best Kept Secret, California's Hidden Treasure & 2nd or 3rd Coming. Loyalty & Honor cannot cure the cancer of a talented natural born idiot."

I never like Bishop Lamont THAT much, I bumped a few tracks, but I throw
him in the same category as Game: West Coast Rappers whose music is good but not timeless or original.

But Im with all those who criticize Dre and Aftermath. FUCK them. pompous pussies.

taking a dre beat and getting kicked out>>>>>>>>bieng shelfed on aftermath for 50 years until dr dre decides hes gonna drop HIS album, which has shown to take over a decade

anyone with any fucking sense leaves aftermath
youre lucky if you get kicked out, how else you gon get out of contracts

life is too fucking short for all of this bullshit

what happens next when a integral part of the detox album gets sick and/or dies, shelfed for another 5 years?

remember when chronic 2010 (the year not the album) sounded futuristic and now its 2010? i gave up on dre years ago
