Big Tone will only Release one Last Album

I've put music to the side for a long while and In some ways I've lost interest in it. I still love writing and tellin my story but the rap game ain't the same to me. So with that being said, I think this next album will be my last solo. Got a lot more goin on in life then music now. But I always will and have appreciated everyone's support. 10 years deep cuz of y'all! With all luv N respect. It was fun while it lasted.

"From the streets of California" is one of the dopest releases for 2011 in my opinion.

On mine Opionion its very sad that Big Tone is like that. I can understand that if its like he dont get back what hes investin in the Rap Biz. But theres also something like "Do it for the Love of it". For me hes like one of the Last of a Dyin' Breed. So for me its like a Loss if he really wanna stop rappin. I dont know but it was sad to see that Woodie wasnt sellin as much as he deserved, and same goes for the rest of ECCR. Sorry for my bad english...

Its just my opinion bro... He's been rapping about the same thing album after album after album ... its gets boring to me... I bet you can find these quotes on all of them... "from the streets of northern cali mane" ... "Sippin on this henny mane" ... I like to get to know an artist as his music evolves ... I don't feel like this guys music does that.. Quality wise its very good music .. but I'm just not feeling the content. Aside from that his voice it just real dull and laid back to me , it doesn't catch my attention.... Another thing .. I don't like how the dude carries him self ... He doesn't take negative or constructive criticism well instead taking it and acting like professional .. He lashes out and pulls the "hater" card.

If this is his last album the rap game will not miss him one bit, and I say that respectfully. He's been in the rap game for ten years yet his growth was disappointing. He changed his style, but after I feel his music lacked substance or never conveyed a message to the listener. Lyrically he never grew like expected. It seemed more like he reached his full potential early on and just plateaued after that.

Big Tone comes out with the best homeboy music but I can agree with his delivery being boring sometimes. His music all together is always good tho' with his beats and features.

I couldn't listen to Big Tone by himself for an entire CD kind of like Jacka I'd fall asleep but he's good for 1 verse each song then somebody else jump on to bring the tempo up. Tone has some sick ass verses too tho'
