Fans of the above mentioned Grind Family and Ric Jilla will be happy to know that the two camps have been talking as of late and are planning on doing some work together. For those who don't know, Ric Jilla was a part of the Grind Family in their early days, and in some way had a falling out with the group and the two have been beefing ever since. Well, not really beefing that hard, but not fucking with each other. I told the both of them a long time ago that I think they are two of the best in the game and coming out of a part of the country like Northwestern Indiana, they need to stick together and make something happen. Sounds like that might happen. Check out www.Grindfamily.com for some sound samples and hopefully we'll hear something new real soon. Word is The Grind got a deal with Select-O-Hits and they are about to release a CD with some of their old cuts for those who have missed out, and some new ones for the new fans that are sure to come. Check out page 66 of that new Source for a story on the Grind Family by my man Charlie Braxton.
