If you want to move your arms all around crazy like..any sports title is good, but if you want to just chill old school style then pick up Super Mario Galaxy 1 or 2, the Mario Bros titles, or Donkey Kong country

Conduit or Mad World for titles geared towards adults

But the novelty will wear off quickly and you'll soon see the Wii just sitting there

Just get one sports game: Wii Sports Resort. Or maybe also Tiger Woods 11...

Then it depends on what kind of other games you or your wife like.

Mario Galaxy, Donkey Kong, Madworld, Kirby, Smash Bros., Zelda, Metroid, Resident Evil 4, Okami, Zack & Wiki...

Donkey kong is the best one. I purchased a red wii just for that game. The new super mario bros. game is dope too. I also got Mario kart, another fun game. The wii is an entertaining console.

House of the Dead 2&3 (Great gameplay/challenge)
House of the Dead Overkill was a alright game, replayed it a couple times but nothing worth getting unless its around 10$
And obviously the Wii Sports/Resort/Fit games, in case you have a chick come over..

The main Nintendo games, Mario Galaxy 1 & 2/New Super Mario Bros, Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Kart, Kirby, Donkey Kong Returns etc.

The main one I would recommend is Super Smash Bros Brawl, incredibly polished and balanced game thats both accessible to young kids and has enough depth for pro tournaments. It's that kind of timeless fun, it doesn't get old. It also has a million things to unlock like collectibles. It also gives you the option to play with 4 different control methods, either the numchuck, holding the main one sideways or you can use either a classic or gamecube controller for more precision.

Does Snake slice any necks or do CQC in it?

^^^^^^^^Pretty much this.

Games that I have and like: Mariokart, Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros, Wii Sports, Wii Play, Punchout, Madden, Zelda and the old school NES games I downloaded.

Everything else I got is pretty much shit. I haven't bought a new game in over a year. If I had to pick one up, it'd be Donkey Kong or Goldeneye. Epic Mickey looks like its either the best or worst game ever made.

EDIT: This system's most valuable feature, IMO, is that you can download all the old shit. My system has Mario, Mario 2, Mario 3, Super Mario World, DK Country, Blades of Steel, Punchout, Zelda, Dodgeball, etc. That's worth $200 alone.
