I was wondering what gets you the best results when it comes to ripping tracks off of vinyl. I heard it's bad to use your DJ mixer because they don't follow the RIAA EQ curve so the original sound is being colored by the mixer. I was thinking those USB phono pre-amps are probably the best. Also what is the best software/plug-ins for cleaning the sound afterwards and what settings/processes do you use? Thanks!
