So my blog (http://strivin.com) which mostly covers hip hop got nominated in the Hey! Nielsen & Billboard.com Best Music Blog contest. I have no clue how, but it's nice. There's like 75 blogs nominated, but when you consider how many music blogs there are out there, to be among the 75 nominated is pretty good.
Voting begins today, Monday, November 12th, but you have to be registered at Hey! Nielsen to vote. The registration is quick and there's an option to not receive promotional e-mails from them which is nice.

and click the "Rate It" button in the upper left.
