Otaez is the worst Mexican restaurant in east Oakland. I remember we would go there for dinner on Sundays twice a month till we seen a mouse pass by to the kitchen before they remodeled a couple years back. I lived up 38th ave. Till 6 years ago and everyone around the block would talk about how dirty it was.

I know that shit is nasty a fuck. I was hoping someone would agree with me so I could of told em something else. That place is horrible. Their carrot juice is crap too. Tapatio is also bad. Fruitvale tamaleros >

Truth! Folks always talkin about the one in San Leandro cause its open hella late, but the food at the one on Mission is soooo much better.

No you right, they both close at 3, the one in Newark is the one that closes hella early. No bar at the one Hayward, shit, hardly anywhere to sit at the one in Hayward, but its still the better location for food out of all the La Pinatas.

How can you talk about Taqueria's in Hayward and not mention Senaida's on Tennyson road not a big fan of La Pinatas they are ok but I would go to Acapulco Taqueria on West A st before La Pinatas anyday.

Acapulco is good no doubt, but that La Pinata GO, as the kids like to say these days.

I think most people like La Pinata because they are open so late coming back from the bar or club at 1 or 3am and getting some good mexican food is always a plus but I like Senaida's, Acapulco Taqueria , and this other little hole in the wall spot called Taqueria Arandas better then La Pinata but dont get me wrong all of them are good as fuck cant go wrong.

IMO that shit is good but it's kinda overrated... but everyone and their mom I know swears it's the best Mexican food ever

they always cater parties and shit I've been to for work or other things... and people just about nut in their pants when they hear Mecca is catering
