there is like 3 people on this whole forum that know who they are,let alone have favorite tracks

you would get better respones if you put this in the general hip hop forum

...and on the topic, you must not have been listening to jedi mind very long if those are your favorite tracks.

haha I was thinkin that same shit when I read that response

but yeah they are talented lyricists and all but I never got into them.. i heard a couple verses when they was spittin some anti-God type rhymes and I wasnt feelin that and didnt wanna support it thats just my personal beliefs.. I may be trippin tho and maybe that ain't the aim they took but thats how I interpreted it and it was some pretty bad shit if i recall right... also immortal technique is dope as fuck and i like some songs but I've hard him say some anti-religion type shit too and I just ain't feelin that message... i respect there beliefs but i ain't gonna listen to some shit i dont agree wit when it comes to that...... but I am into a lot of underground hiphop backpack type shit, just not them

yeah I feel you.. I'm not all into a specific RELIGION like that but I do believe in GOD and not gonna support anything disrespecting him or other folks that have faith in him... it's actually kinda hipocritical for me to say cuz I listen to all types of stuff talking about violence, sex, drugs, and all the other bullshit aspects that seems to be in all rap now days.. but there not directly coming with anti-religion type messages... i'm not gonna get into the whole religious argument i just choose not to listen to them but yeah they got skills

if i didnt listen to music that had lyrics i didnt agree with i would be listening to classical music, haha

i take it for what it is. entertainment. i am just weird enough to actually think its refreshing to hear a different point of view like they provide

i get where you are coming from though,i have friends that have been turned off from them for the same exact reasons

"i against i" is my all-time favorite track of theirs. "deer hunter" "executioner's dream" "heavenly divine" "sacrifice" & "blood runs cold" are some other good ones to download.

get their Violent By Design cd, first & foremost. then after that, Their Psycho Social cd. both classics, production & lyrics is incredible (particularly on VBD...plus you get Jus Allah, who outshined paz/ikon IMO).

& if you like stoupe's newer production, give canibus Rip The Jacker cd a chance too...entirely produced by stoupe. another classic (to me), & canibus best cd.

but yea, this thread belongs in the General Hip Hop forum...
