point is on foods. I remember mine was so severe I couldnt even swallow my own spit. So I had to have a water bottle I'd spit in. Is yours that bad? I limited my self to soups. They'd get me through hunger and I could have larger portions at one time as opposed to solids that I'd have to chew into small bits and then swallow.

yeah, exactly... i got this water bottle full of spit... everytime i swallow, i want to die... so it's prolly about the same severity.

I donno but I take a few hits of weed...probably not good for my throat but it helps a lot with the pain...

pop a thizzle

I swear one time I was sick as fuck... sore throat... hella congested... coughing... headache... all the shit...

I popped 2 thizzles and felt fucking great... all my symptoms cleared up for the rest of the night

of course I was thizzed and smoked about a pack of cigarettes... then felt 5 times worse in the morning... but for that night...

Last time I went to the doctors over it she gave me antibiotics but said it wouldn't help me get over it. It would just kill the bacteria that gave me the strep so I wouldn't be contagious to others. But it would do nothing as far as helping me get better.

Exactly. It's bacterial, so the antibiotics get rid of it. However, antibiotics won't get rid of the pain and all the other shit that comes with it. That's why some doctors will tell you to take aspirin or something as needed. After 24 hours, you won't be contagious...but your throat will still hurt like a bitch and those symptoms will usually stick around until the infection is completely gone.
