Been doing a lot of tutorials, various works and mock ups and I want to start sharing these with friends, other artists and potential clients. Any suggestions to which blog host would be most fitting for this or are all the free ones pretty much the same gig? This is more for motivational and personal reasons than professional. blogger? wordpress? might start getting more involved with deviantart to network ideas. Also I was checking out weebly and might get involved with that one. I have a little experience in html & css but like I said before this is more a minimal endeveor for now at least.

Any favorites?

watch out for freehosting, you get what you pay for
but if you dont care other people are advertising on your site and will probably draw attention away form your content then it may be an option. but be aware that if you want someone to take your message seriously any distracting advertisements are not in your best interest.

hella cheap, only a few bucks a month, decent service, they say its unlimited but they told me i needed a dedicated host after I was taking up more than 5 gigs of space. but if your needs are simple they are good for the price, tell em swishersplitter refereed you!

fuck godaddy hosting! for real dont use them for anything other than registering a domain, their hosting is a horrible joke.

tumblr or wordpress are probably the best options; both have lots of really nice pre-made themes that you can customize to your liking (or make your own from scratch).

if you want to keep things simple and easy i'd go with tumblr, but you could always sign up for both and see which you like better before deciding.
