San Quinn - I Give you My Word
Best Quinn album to come out, really plays to his strengths as an artist. A lot of albums seem to go for a mainstream feel, and for the most part Quinn kept it loud and rough as you should expect. Great lyrics as well, a HUGE step in his lyrical content in this album from previous efforts.

Jacka - The Jack Artist
Rob-Lo drops some classic beats, kind of remind me of a combination of mobb music with an East Coast influence. Truely a polished effort, much better content and sound than his first album, and like Quinn's album above this really plays to his strengths and showcases his lyrical ability.

Zion I and the Grouch- Hero's in the City of Dope
More "back pack" style rap, but AmpLive is behind the boards and he always does a great job on the production. You couldn't ask for smoother mixes and beats, and Grouch and Zion I are both capable of dropping soulfull lyrics with a lot of versatility. No track on the album sounds the same and there are songs that have great crossover and mainstream appeal and also songs that keep the two artists in the format they feel comfortable in, but for the most part Experimentation is the key with this album and it will definitely outlive a lot of other trash going around these boards and the airwaves.

Also I wanted to add a fourth album: Jacka, Huslah and AP 9 - Mobb Trial

This album was pieced together very carefully and what you get is a whole package instead of track after track. The quality of continuity is what most Bay Area albums lack that make them ITunes favorites and not big sellers at CD stores. When you pick up and album with great cover art, interesting interludes and beats and a track order that really make it "flow" there is no way a fan can pass it up. It was a big step for the Mob Figaz to let Nick Peace help produce an entire album and when you hear Andre Nickatina style beats with mobbed out lyrics you have to be impressed with it all around. The interludes where they interview each one of the Mob Figaz makes it even more interesting and really packages it all together nicely.

I'm glad cats are recognizing how dope an album blocc movement was. its a testament to how much bela has grown lyrically. he's always been a beast with that monotone style of his, but he brought it on this one y'all. straight fire. i love "knock his ass out"
