I think Absolute Power is one of the best CD's of all time. It's up there with both of Dr. Dre's Cronic CD's, Tupac's All Eyez On Me, Warren G's Regulators, and Bone Thugz E. 1999 Eternal.

Whoa is right...Damn I love me some Tech shit, but thats definatly saying a whole lot. Especially since I think Anghellic is a more complete album anyway.

In your opinon, what makes a great cd? Give me all of the elements you think are involved in that cuz im real curious now. Or is it simply cuz u dont have to skip a track ?

For me what makes a great CD is; It (feels like it) tells a story, You dont have to skip tracks, When you put in in your car for the trip home from the store... you dont want to go home just drive around til its finished, You get a sense of completion on the last track;

... you know. SHit like that.

that's true but i always found it funny because his older stuff had a lot more "wizard/warlock/occult" (lol) flavor to it if you think about it//
think about songs like hellbound, all the imagery in nnutthowze, the voodoo candles, the skull painted face, a lot more backward talkin, more about angels/demons shit

anghellic on the other hand had party tunes and real life shit amongst other things

All of the songs are of high quality and all of the beats are good (except She Devil). The lyrics are off the chain and the hooks are just as crazy. I can't pick one song that is the best. I'd have to list four. Imma Tell, Yada Yada Yada, Constantly Dirty, and I'm a Playa are all top quality. The story he tells throughout gets you hooked. Starts off pissed off (Industy is Punks), then has three party songs, then gets serious, then weird, then serious, and finally ends it with another party song. The final four songs really leave their mark.

Anghellic was like the focal point of Tech's albums I guess you could say...I myself would consider it better than AP, and rate it up there with Me Against The World, cause it basically was- like tech said "my life on an album" It showed people who Tech N9ne was, and that he could make music that everyone felt. Thats what Twiztid does, thats what 2pac did, Biggie, Bone Thugs.... they put part of their souls into music and for that they've gained a fanbase that wont ever leave them, deep roots ya know? Absolute Power is more of a party/club album, but the way Tech N9ne does it. It came from what happened after Anghellic blew up (if you consider Anghellic "blowing up" a correct statement) and just kinda added on to Anghellic's story.

I'd say up to Anghellic, I like his stuff better than what he's released afterward (but no doubt its still fresh as fuck). But like I said before, this question would be easier answered AFTER Everready drops.
