50 Cent has got a nomination for Best Rap Album...so J.R. Rotem will be getting a plaque if he wins it...

J.R. is from The Bay...don't know if that counts but he's closer to it than anyone else from here...

Also...Green Day is up for a Grammy(s)...they're from Berkeley...so yeah....

I don't think anything coming out of 'The Hyphy Movement' will get many Grammy nods...

I'm pretty sure that only the artist an award for any of the "Best _____ Album" categories.

What did J.R. do on that album though?

i was gonna go wit Manu Unknown and Short List Records and pass out some of Cozmo's beat cds and promote myself to some majors...what does the recording academy have to do with anything? Normal people can roll if they pay 200-300 dollars for their ticket.

Jose Santana a. k. a. 10sion is one of Carlos's nephews/relatives as well. I just read his article in the new Murder Dog (2005 recap - 2 Keak cover's). Somethin' I didn't know about him. It seems as though the entire family is heavily involved in music.

Right on. I just read that you had to be a member to buy tickets so I was curious.
