Here ya go BART Fam. That Bay History Mix Pt 2. I wanted to take it way back this time so there are a few treats in this 1. You have the Dangerous Dame cut that dropped before his 1st album “Jumpin”. Then there is that 1st hit $hort had and its what really put the Bay on the Map.
I ended this mix with A clip of Khayree’s 1st Rap Group and record!! Apparently this was out before any of $hort’s 75 Girls Records releases. How many of you have heard this 1??

Once again, please feel free to criticize the good and bad cause I know I need to improve….

The only way I know to upload tracks of this size is through You Sent It so the links may die out quick. If you have a better method please re-up it. If you didn’t get the chance to peep part 1 here is the link. Im also including the link to that OG Bay Tapes Post so you can flip to it and see the pixs of these releases. Thanks again folx and enjoy.

Another beauty......you pulled some tracks outta the museum here. Have listened to it 4-5 times thru already. I love the partial line-up for Pt.3 you sent me.....be another history lesson for all.....can never soak enough knowledge. When you think you know it all there's always something you missed.

...13. Hubba Head - Khayree & The Luvva Twins (Khayree's 1st Rap Record!!!)...

I read about this track in an article on Davey D's website. The article was about an old school Bay Area rap exhibition. There was another rapper mentioned who should be the first rapper from the bay ever to put out music on wax even before Too $hort. His name is Motorcycle Mike. Do you know what's up with this guy?

found another article where he is mentioned:

"For many who live outside of NY, Hip Hop has regional roots. For example when we put together the Hip Hop Exhibit here in the Bay Area we were shocked to discover footage of cats doing the electric boogaloo and pop locking from as far back as 1967. We discovered rap records being put out in the Bay as far back as 1980 and emcees like Steve Walker and Motorcycle Mike proceeding pioneers like Too Short by several years."
