Bay Area producers Vs. All other producers

I think the bay has the best producers in the rap game... They don't get enough props for how good there shit actully is....But my question is what sets a bay producer from any other producer from another area. I feel the versititly of a bay producer is greater then anyother... My fav bay producers are...

my closest friend M-Phazes has just produced half of the album for North Caroline rapper Supastition who is on same label as KRS ONE and from the way he works is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay different to what you would do to knock out some west coast tunes.
Starting from the equipment to software to everything, its a complete different process. And personally I think it takes more talent to be able to produce somethin like Premier or Pete Rock to something like Rick Rock or Bosko, even though in my opinion it doesnt sound half as good.

I've heard some of the work M-Phazes did for Inverse (www.inversetheory.com) and I must admit that his production is amazing. I also heard an M-Phazes produced Supastition track that he sent to Inverse when I was in LA recording with them in December. It was real tightwork!

Some of you folks need to do your homework. Dre is a bad brotha but every hit he has made either has been sampled or re-played by his team of musicians. The Bay dared to be differnt and made original music not copycat shit. As for the South they shit is pumpin but if you can remember the use to make fast as shit like LA dream Team beats. When Short moved to Atlanta the south all of a sudden started making playa mobb beats which later became Crunk. Now they even rap about pimpin and hustlin. The bay has ben overlooked and slept on for a long time now. I digg the South and even the East but the bay has got the world changing. Ask Snoop, he was able to rejuvenate his career because of the slang and attitude he stole from the motha fukin BAY!!

I still think that Bay producers can compete with the ones RECORD Co. have dubbed the best. DJ Quik is tight but put him next to a Khayree and Khayree will eat him up. Its sad that we dont get the recognition we deserve. Then theres EA Ski and the versatile Sean-T and the list can keep going as listed in the previous replys. I just think the world is scared of the Bay and thats why they try to keep the shine elsewhere. Its a shame that we cant have the unity between nor and so Cal. If we can team up we can really cause some damage and it will bring better freindly compition which can only result in the best music out...
