DVD looks ill, will we be able to cop it online cause I doubt it will come through my way. The first mixtape you put out that was hosted by Jacka and Husalah was a coo tape but the quality was real shitty. You gonna have anybody hosting volume two? I hope you get a better cover instead of that one right there cause looks like it was whipped up in 5 mins in ms paint. LOL @ locks picture.

ouch! don't worry what the cover looks like, worry about the product inside lol if i sell enough of these then i can pay shemp to do another cover when i repress.

this shit is 2 hours, just added a b-legit interview on top of everything else. glad people are feelin the dvd, it's gonna be big. after the dvd the soundtrack is comin, then block stars dvd vol. 2 in spring. nobody hostin the soundtrack & it will be mixed & mastered properly. that 1st mixtape was just a learning experience, something to get people familiar with my name but it ain't an official part of my catalog really, ya dig? btw locksmith had that expression on for the whole time lol

3 other things i had to say in regard to this:

1. i wanted the cover to be different than everything else you see on the shelf today. shemp is my boy and he does standout work, but everybody has a fuckin shemp cover or a FUGAZI shemp cover, and that FUGAZI shit doesn't fly with me. at least my shit is original lol

2. this is the internet & you're looking at a jpeg (jpeg=shit quality b/c of compression). it looks a helluva lot better on paper/@ high resolution.

3.you can cop online thru rapbay

Thank you for the reply. So its no longer a dvd/cd pack and instead two seperate things now? There are other artists besides shemp and im sure if you go one of these art fourms on here or raptalk one of these newer guys will whip you up one for free just for their portofolio. "that 1st mixtape was just a learning experience, something to get people familiar with my name but it ain't an official part of my catalog really, ya dig?" I was one of the people that coped it and it was a good mixtape so is there anyway you would look into enhancing the sound or remastering the old one cuase it had some raw cuts that werent found in other places. Specially some of them Hus ones. And I like the dvd movement you are bringing to the bay and I can tell its going to be successful cause its something the region is lacking. Sort of a smack dvd for the west

yep, thats correct. i probably spent just as much money, time and efforrt on the dvd as the cd to be honest with you so as much as i would love to give ya'll the two together, right now its not really feasable.

thank you, i'm glad you appreciate what i do and put out into the world. surpisingly a LOT of people had that. that shit was big in tha P too.

mmm... i was thinking of remastering some of the cuts and putting em on the new soundtrack. which ones were you feelin besides the ones hus spit on?

thanks for the support <again> it is something we're lacking out here and thats why i wanted to do it. i been watching smack dvd since the 2nd one they did. plus i'm in a very unique situation where 1.i can call up a clyde carson or a cellski and be doing an interview with them the next day. & 2.i have the equipment to shoot & edit a dvd and the resources & knowledge to get it out there. and thats point and the feeling that i get EVERYDAY from mufuckas i talk to is that we're right here on the verge of gettin shine again, it's just a matter of time. PK (jacka's manager) was telling me yesterday, as long as people keep saying it and knowing it's true that shit is inevitable.
