Sway tried to calm cats down E40 came out with his Mac Dre shirt on when the team came out that's when all the jumping from lawns to the seats started, then Keak came out all hell broke loose nothing but dreads, braids, and weaves shaking but the highlight was between sets when the dj was playing get stupid, feelin myself, the crowd was like no other they gave it up to the mac called dre, ying yang was cool jodeci needed to stay away, kane was tight, missed frontline but other then the outside bullshit and the few fights inside it was cool, but it gave another black eye to the bay when the shit happend while artists where on stage, almost looked like a repeat of the the summer jam when the luniz situation happend I thought for a minute they were going to stop the show

Didn't hear about the stabbing but wouldn't doubt it,ya right cats do need to grow up started with summer jam back in the day the famous cash money conert in oakland and countless bay area shows that's why we don't really have big functions for bay area artists, hope cats do one day grow up

Just heard on the news right now that there was a shooting down the street from the concert too
yeah, here's the news article.

Police investigate fatal Mountain View shooting

By the Mercury News

Mountain View police were investigating a homicide Sunday evening near Shoreline Amphitheatre soon after concertgoers had filed out from the annual, daylong KMEL Summer Jam concert.

Police received a call about 7:45 p.m. of shots fired in the area of Rengstorff Avenue and Old Middlefield Way.

They arrived to find one male victim lying alongside the road near a strip mall at the intersection. He was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses reported a large gathering and a fight before the shooting at a strip mall on the southwest corner of the intersection. The crowd fled after the gunfire, with witnesses saying the suspects left in three older American-made sedans.

No suspects were in custody, police said, though they were looking for a black male in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a white baggy T-shirt down past his waist and long, baggy blue shorts.

Police said they didn't know whether the victim or assailant had attended the concert, which featured several pop and hip-hop artists and ended about 6:15 p.m. They also didn't know whether the shooter and victim knew each other.

I haven't been to a Summer Jam in a few years now... Probably since the late 90's... Back then Sway had to come out to try to calm the crowd down too... After dudes were fighting fucking up the show throwing chairs and shit... Glad I missed it.
