dude never ever ever give anyone access to your bank account!!!!

it's not giving them access .. when you write a check it has your account number printed on it. i see bank receipts on the floor all the time with peoples account numbers on them. either way i haven't given it him just wondering if anyone here accepts that form of payment.

yea buddy, i work at a bank, and the easiest way is to give dude your account # and your bank, and have him go into the bank and just deposit the $ in your account.....although this wont work if u bank at a small private bank that doesnt exist where dude is at....but if your at wells fargo or b of a, thats the best way to go.

Someone on eBay the other week was desperately trying to buy something from me, but asked if he can pay me through wire transfer. The only problem is, he needed my bank account info so he can wire it through his bank. I didn't accept his offer since I don't trust anyone but myself with my bank account info. Shit is just to risky..

Naner, is this guy an eager eBay customer??

Lol, you ppl are crazy.
I don't know how it works in US, but in Poland ppl pay ONLY with bank transfers. Giving someone your bank account number is nothing dangerous (comapring to giving your credit card number). When someone has your accoutn number he can only give you money, not take it.

Where I live, it's not beneficial to pay with any other form. Money order costs like $1, while a bank transfer costs me like 15 cents? And dude gets the money almost immediately and he can take them from in the street using the card from the ?cash machine? without paying shit for it.

I was disappointed like 3 years ago when it occured that nobody wants to give me his bank account number in US. In our polish eBay equivalent ppl post their bank account number together with auction details ;).

@ NANER... Just get a Paypal Account since you already have a bank account. Its easy to sign up and its a Safe way to send and receieve payments dawg. I only got a Pre-Paid VISA and it works for paypal. When i want my money, I ask them to send me a check. But being that you have a B.A... You can Have your money sent to your account. Or you can Request a check, and deposit it yourself. Its simple.

I run an importing business here in CA. If a customer wants to send a bank transfer give them this information:

Beneficiary Name: Your Name
Bank Name:
Bank Address (any branch:
Routing #: (Find it on your checks)
Account #: (find it on your checks)

They can't withdraw your money or do anything harmful to you w/ this info. I wouldn't worry.
