We'll start off with Big Oso Loc "Ready 4 Whatever". I noticed a lot of growth music wise, on this CD. The lyrics, and delievery sound a lot better. The vocals sound a lot clearer than his last two releases. Lovin' the Sho-Down beats, I use a lot of Sho-Down shit too. Overall I'd have to say this is his best release yet. Fav. Tracks wurr "Certified", "Intro (A Rider's Story)", "Ready For Whatever", "Cali Soldados" f/Big Tone, "Fremontstaz" f/Plot, Young Dalley, "Step To The Loco, and the Big Chuco f/Priviledge track "You Didn't Know". Tripped out seeing that Big Oso's not with Starz The Limit anymore, but either way job well done Oso!
Lil' Coner presents Balled Out - Hard Hood Classics This CD was tight, it had some heavy hitters too, like Keak Da Sneak, San Quinn, Jim Jones, 2Pac, Luni Coleone, JT Tha Bigga Figga, Messy Marv, Black C, and more. A Lot of tight tracks on here like "Yadadamean", "Fuck Yo Side", "Bitch Nigga", "It's Real Life", "Cocaine Consignment", but I gotta say that Lil' Coner had the best track on the CD "Son Don't Worry". That was one of the tightest tracks I've ever heard, that shit was tight!! The song with 2Pac sounds like an exclusive, I've never heard those 2Pac verse's and that made the CD even better. Overall a good buy that I'm very happy with!! Keep it comin' Coner!!
Darkroom Familia "Family Reunion"
It felt good to buy a new Darkroom CD. Last one I bought was Men Of Honor. This CD feature DRF members- Duke, Venomous, D-Roll, Crooked, Emaculate, Unknown, K.I.D., Oso, Sir Dyno, Young Crayze, Young D. Best songs were "Darkroom Vets", "Hu$tle N Grind", "U.N." featuring Tito B, Lil' Coner, Big Oso Loc, Ace of Spits, Mousie, Lou-E-Lou intro by Speedy Loc, "Brainz, Brainz, Brainz", "F.O.A.D.", "Golden State Hustlers" f/Big Stuff, "Evil Intentions", "Like What?" f/J. Freeze, Big Stuff, "Next Generation", but the best track on the CD in my opinion was "Letter 4 Dyno", ya'll gotta hear that one, tight as fuck!!! Good to see Darkroom back, and hopefully they go str8 to the top like before. Good job DRF can't wait for the next one, but I'd love to see a real Family Reunion yadadamean?!?! If ya'll could put all differences asside that would be tight!! FREE DYNO!
East Co. Co. Records presents Northern Expozure 6 if you don't know that you should buy this yet, or if you havent bought it yet slap yourself!!! Arguably the best Northern Expozure release to date!! My fav. tracks would have to be "My Life On The Line" by Lil' Dee, Woodie, "Talk To My Nine" by Woodie, A-Wax, B-Dawg, Lil' Dee, "Sharkz -N- The Water" by B-Dawg, "Me" by A-Wax, "Ghetto Smilez, Ghetto Tears" by Sleepy Santino, Y.G., Mike Marshall, "Against All Odds" by Shadow, "One Way Road" by Big Tone ft. Woodie, Davina, "Look Death In The Face" by B-Dub of Mob C.I.N., "No Punkz" by Woodie, Lou-E-Lou, Shadow, "Yay Filthy" by Lou-E-Lou, "Bury Me On 18th Street" by Woodie, Lou-E-Lou, Lil' Dee, "-N-Visionz Of My Hate (Throwback Track)" by Lil' Los. But the best tracks of the CD were "Bring The World To It's Kneez" by Woodie, Lil' Dee, B-Dawg, and "Raized -N- To It" by Lil' Woodie, Lil' Wedo, Young Fatz, Lil' Dee, Woodie!!!! Would have loved to have heard X.O. Creep on at least one track, and more Lil' Los, Shadow, and Lou-E-Lou But overall I was extremely satisfied with this CD.
