Ok, I am broke as fuck and need a job. I would have got one a couple months ago, but I was too lazy and missed out. Now school is starting soon, and I have no money @ all, and I have convinced myself in my head that I need sum buddah to calm me down and make everything seem alright, but I don't have any money to cop any/ re-up. Well, anyway, I have two motor vehicle infractions from July that I have not taken care of yet. I am applying for a job and on the background check it will probably list these, I'm guessing since they say that they include past motor vehicle incidents in the report. I don't want to get into the details because I am one of those paranoid types who believes that the gov., or in this case the Choicepoint company that does the background check, is spying on everything that I do, even on here and can use this as evidence against me since I haven't gone to my court date yet. Does anybody know if these two infractions will hinder my chances @ getting the job or if the type of infraction is taken into account?

If you don't explain them and your employer finds out afterwards they'll probably terminate you...

What kind of "infractions" are we talking about. I hope you don't bring up fix it tickets LOL

Basically, on 1 of 'em i got stopped initially 4 headlights, but tha cop found i wuz drinkin'. i was underage, and tha car reeked of weed & alcohol, & all my frendz were 2 fucked up 2 drive and didnt hav i.d. But, I wuz lucky & didnt get arrested. They had me in cuffs, but they let me go after a while. Then tha second 1 was jus runnin' a light in tha City. "Fuckin' Cameras." I'm just wondering if they would look down upon that or not. Like, if sum1 else wuz applyin' 4 tha same position, would they take them over me kuz i hav those points on the DMV record.

How did the first one get on your record if you werent held?

Second one sounds fine. I don't think an employer would care, but I don't much about that. Don't lie to the employer.

And I feel the same way about the government and companies knowing everything. It might be paranoia but I don't care if it is.

Unless you're applying to be a pizza delivery driver or some such occupation, I don't see why your employer would give a fuck about your drivi9ng record.
