foolz always sayin that the only reason bad boy was big in the mid nineties was because of biggie. and while that may be partially true, i dont think big wouldve been as big (no pun intended) if he didnt have puff guiding his career. puff was the one who chose all his beats and shit and thats what made his career. all the tight ass beats big had. and you can argue all day that it was his lyrics but thats not really true. rakim dropped the 18th letter and the master or whatever the hell it was called and shit flopped. were the lyrics ill? hell yeah! were the beats ill? hell no!
my point is, big wouldnt have blown up as much as he did if he never wouldve had puff and bad boy. do yall agree or disagree

i agree on tha fact biggie wouldnt be as known as he wuz with puffy.... but i think he woulda been a better emcee without that sorry bitch. it'z puffy'z fault he wuz rappin about all that "i got this car, and this watch" bullshit. nobody givez a fuck wut you got!!!! that shit brought him down in my opinion. people talk about not liking mainstream music bcuz they talk about that type of crap, but then they enjoy biggie's shit. i think he woulda been tighter without puffy....
