I agree, nobody can touch K-Lou on the beat. He's THE producer IMO, he taught many bay producers how to make music... but he just changes his original style sometimes (that was what Mean Mugg meant I think) cause he can do any kind of music an artist wants... but Mean Mugg, you've got to listen to JBizie "Disrespectful" lp homie (this is the K-Lou style you like the most I guess)...

and Jay Tee, I got a question for you: I found the "Code of silence" comp few days back and you got a song on it with Baby Beesh which you produced with K-Lou ("it's like that" is the name of the song I think), what year did you recorded this one ? (comp came out in 2000) this song is knocking and K-Lou came with some heat on this one again... please let me know

Who said he lost his touch? Did you hear "Ha Naw" off So Cold or "We Bubble" off High Caliber. K-Lou is still raw.
Sho have, those were cool but did you hear playboy w's album? K-lou had like 5 beats on there, only feelin one, I forget but I had some unknown underground artists' albums and k-lou was doin a few cuts but just wasn't gettin that feel. Thx G-ro I gotta check out that jbizie, where's he from?

You can't judge K-Lou by a beat that he did for some unknown cat. Them are throw away beats. He has 2 different type of beats. Beats for cats that are really gonna do something with the beat and beats for cats that are gonna do nothing but fuck up a beat by rapping on it. Do the math....

I never knew about this comp. The song title may be changed. Am I rapping on it, and what were some of the words to the chorus? Let me know.

I got the cd at home but if I remember right it's a comp that Daric B. put out under is label I guess(Silent Partner, like the "80west" and "Latin Active" comps), the song is some of your classic playa type song and chorus is done by a female "cause I'm cool-cool cat, just like that, that's the way it goes..."

Yeah, another song jacked and re-titled. That was one of the first Latino Velvet songs ever. It was called "Cool Cool Cat".

Damn!
that's why I was asking about the year you recorded it cause it doesn't sound like a 2000's released song, now I understand... track is dope anyway!

I bought that comp "Code of Silence" only because you and Beesh are on it. The song title is "It's Like That".
In one way it sucks that people can put your songs out without even telling you.
In another way it gets you heard more often.

Just outta curiosity, do you still get paid when this happens? I know it's not my business so if you don't answer, there's no hate.
