You know how at the end when dude goes back to the future and the Abe Lincoln staute is a ape then hella apes come outta nowhere and it ends? Did they do that on the TV show?

you guys serious? tv show?

it was a movie.. jesus christ, it was one of the biggest sci-fi movies of alltime.

tim burton remade it. I hate tim burton so I hated the remake. markey mark, once again, overacted and flopped on his role.

Oh ok sorry were not nerds lol. Jus playin but did they show what happened at the end of the old movies?

yeah.. they had like 3 or 4 old ape movies. the fist one was by far the best. but ya, end of the first one was way different from the remake. he comes to the realization that he went into the future when he sees the statue of liberty burried in the sand

this is what i got from wikipedia.

Leo gets aboard Pericles' pod, which is undamaged, and uses it to travel back in time. Leo crashes on what appears to be Earth, in Washington DC. He looks up to see the Lincoln Memorial is now a monument in honor of General Thade. As a swarm of ape police officers descend on Leo, he (and the audience) wonder just what has happened to his world. Presumably, part of the plot twist is that rather than being thrown forward in time, Leo was thrown back in time somewhere ahead of the Oberon, thus making his return from the 'future' an actual return from an alternate-timeline past of Earth.
