Vince Mcmahon Jr wanted Hulk for his vision, and convinced Hulk to come give his family's company another run with big promise. When Hulk got there, Vince Sr. did not want Bob Backlund to drop the belt, so Hulk told Vince Jr he was going to go back to AWA, but Vince Jr was able to work on his dad to make history happen as we know it. Things could have turned out very different.

The Players, Hulk Hogan, Jesse Ventura, Bobby Heenan, Andre The Giant, Mean Gene, and the storylines from AWA were transfered and used to propel WWF to the Mainstream. Wrestling Historians have said for years this fact, and now we can look for ourselves at the old footage and determine for ourselves.

nowadays it seems like ROH has the goods and WWE still has the marketing. I never watched ROH before but WWE is snagging all their guys.
