Errelevent & Equivalent Exchange release the rapper/producer duo album of the year!

San Francisco, CA -- September 15, 2009 -- They say the best things in life are free, and this definitely holds true when it comes to the latest release from Errelevent and his producer Equivalent Exchange. Spitz Unlimited Vol. 1: Destroy & Rebuild is the brand new collaboration between the two artists, and is now available for free download at www.spitzunlimited.com. It is comprised of 16 tracks entirely produced by Equivalent Exchange, with Errelevent supplying the lead vocals. Versatility is the word of the day with this release, as the two craft everything from intense lyrical tracks with booming bass lines to smooth, radio-friendly tracks for the ladies. Errelevent proves why he is the most slept-on MC in the Bay with his commanding mic presence and 50 Cent-esque hook writing ability, while Equivalent firmly establishes himself as the most versatile producer in the area with a full album of polished tracks that sounds like it was composed by 5 or 6 veteran producers, not one.

The album's explosive lead single, "Pull Up To The Front" features Oakland star J. Stalin (http:// errelevent.bandcamp.com/album/pull-up-to-the-front-maxi-single) and has already been well-received on various blogs and hip-hop message boards. The rest of the album is equally as impressive, and will set the stage for future Spitz Unlimited volumes in the coming months. When asked about the meaning of the album's title, Errelevent replied, "Rap is stale, everything is the same right now - the concepts, the beats, the songs on the radio. Its time to tear everything down and build it again from scratch. This album is our first step in doing that." Equivalent Exchange, who assembles a complete album that features a distinct, yet signature sound on every track, says: "I thought of the all-time great albums that were produced by one person - the Chronics, the Moment of Truths, and tried to emulate that formula". Only time will tell if Destroy & Rebuild will be regarded in the same light as the aforementioned albums, but one thing is for sure - it will definitely be regarded as one of the greats of 2009.

Spitz Unlimited Vol. 1: Destroy & Rebuild is available NOW for FREE DOWNLOAD at www.spitzunlimited.com.

Is there goin to be a hard copy of this album ? it's too good to be available for free, lol
We appreciate you checking it out. The album will be free for the immediate future, and we may put it on iTunes eventually, but no retail copies will be pressed. If you're interested in a promo copy/copies of the full album (full-color cover/back cover printed, CD-R w/black thermal print in plastic sleve) PM me your address and I'll get some out to you (same goes for everyone else).

This album sets the stage for many more Spitz Unlimited volumes to come. We put it out for free to show the bay and the world what Spitz Unlimited is capable of and why you should continue to check for us. This is only the beginning!

i only got one thing to say about this album

Errelevent and Equivalent Exchange present

Destroy and Rebuild Vol. 1

Errelevant will not disappoint his current fans and will definitely gain new ones with his superior lyricism, worplay and and vocabulary.
This albums production overall is amazing..every beat strikes deep and hard with every bass kick. While the lyrics show a touch of hip hop, the production is definitely west coast. Errelevent rides each beat without missing a step. While showcasing the ability to rap to several different tempos and beat styles.
Definitely an unbeat album overall, motivation music....an album like this is the type you play when you got shit to do and you gotta stay moving.

The cover art reflects the dismal scene of bay area rap and the economy in general. With the music industry being harder and harder to turn a profit in, and more people illegally bootlegging albums for download instead of buying..we see more and more local and nationwide store going out of business.

The album give an positive outlook through the eyes of Errelevent, a San Francisco based rapper who has performed with Paul Wall, Tech N9ne, Too $hort, and more. Errelevent has al been featured and interviews in issues of Murder Dog Magazine, Stash Magazine, and Ozone Magazine

The tracks on the album do seem to be more uptempo and party-ish, with a slight bit of hyphy blended in. The lyrical content though covers many subjects, spoken from the heart with incredibal vernacular

Stand out Tracks...

"When its on" featuring Jose Santana (10sion) is among one of many stand out tracks on the album, discussing the hard times in the music games and keeping ya head up... While "pull up to the front" is a catchy party track featuring West oakland's very own J-Stalin. While the features are minimal, Errelevent manages to hold his own on every track with a feature. Nowadays a lot of rap cats release decent albums but are severely outshined by their features, Errelevent raises the bar in this sense and I hope more rap artists follow this path. Bar None also is on " All Right " both of these cats drive and skill is displayed in this song. "What its come to" lets you into the mind of Errelevent, with a slight darker nature digging deep into the search for life purpose...the beat is unforgetaable and the lyrics heartfelt. "Polished" feat M. Brando and Pablo Fetti is a headbobber of a track featuring 3 different points of view over a dope beat.

The album overall gives an impressive display of Errelevent's lyrical skills in the booth, Equivalent Exchange's amazinglu upbeat production style and the combination of these two remarkably fused together for this heated release. If you are tired of rappers that all sound the same, then download this album.....

Wait....? download? Yes, thats right...I forgot to mention, this album is free for download at www.spitzunlimited.com
For a free album this is an amazing release for the masses.
Even if you paid $12.99 for this at your local music spot, its still an incredible addition to your music collection.

I mean come on guys, its a quality free album....be sure to purchase this cats next release.
