MOTU's products work nicely, the 828, 828MKII, or the 896 would be right up your alley. If I remember correctly, you're using Digital Performer.

i might actually switch to Logic Platinum eventually.... will MOTU audio systems work with Logic?

i'm doing some planning right now because i'm relocating to a big ass house in square ass Dublin, and i'm turning my room into a personal recording studio... vocal booth and everything

Since Most OSX programs are using Core Audio Drivers(since apple bought out emagic), it should work with logic, You might want to call them to double check, I didn't find anything on the motu website about compatibilty with programs.

I'm gonna tell you like this. If your going to fuck wit' a MAC then go with the program that's becoming pretty much industry standard, (Protools) They have 3 different versions that you can choose from. 001, 002, and the MBox. I have the MBox which is portable and also the 001. Their exactly the same. I'm not a producer but I figured that I would rather record at home and on the road, as opposed to payin' some studio 50 to 100 dollars an hour to do something that I can do on my own.
