ATTN Those that work at AT&T/Cingular Wirless (Help)

Now that school started I've been texting a lot more then lately, and wanted to add a text message feature to my cell phone plan so that it doesn't cost as much. I went to the cingular website, and the only feature they have is 100 texts for $5 extra each month. Seems like a fucking rip, because my brother has 200 texts for $5, and he only signed up a few months ago. So my question is, would I get a better deal if I go in to one of the cingular stores at the mall or whatever, would they be able to hook me up, or I'm pretty much shit out of luck?

You won't see a difference in the price of ratee plans or data by going to an authorized agent or a corporate store. Your brother may have taken advantage of a promotion at a past time. Plans change or are " grandfathered " out meaning new plans come in, but people on an existing old plan usually can stay with it until they want something different.

i get 400 text from at&t for $6...it doesnt include pics or video messages tho, just plain text...i would call them up and ask about this deal..

Just look at their website, if it's not a current plan, most likely you can't get it unless you know someone.

maybe about 6 months ago...i basically piled up $40 worth of charges one month cuz i didnt have a plan...i called them up and basically said i didnt know i texted that much blah blah blah...dude was hella coo and said he would credit me the $40 bucks if i signed up for the $6 deal...so u know i hopped on that real quick!

T-Mobile...I have unlimited text, picture text, email, web access for $20 a month...

I also have a Cingular plan, and I have 200 texts for $5 a month...but I'm dumpin that shit when the contract is up..AT&T is a bitch!

I got 1500 texts including picture messaging as well as unlimited data for 14.99 a month, but I be using the fuck out of my data tho.....my texting varies from 100-300 per month, but its nice to know that I can text nonstop without no damn extra ass charges

Usually, a current customer can get whatever promotion is going on. If they don't cooperate, ask for a supervisor.
