ok, here is an unrealistic situation, but I want everybody to answer this anyways. ok, now, lets say, for some unknown reason, Tech were to leave strange music and sign with psychopathic records. i know how much peope in here seem to hate psychopathic records, and more obviously, insane clown posse. anyways, we all know this would mean they would be touring together a lot more, and they would be releasing a lot more songs together. what i want to know is what would everybody do then? whould you all still listen to and buy tech's cds? would you still go to tech's shows? fuck, would you start to jump on insane clown posse's nuts talking about you have been down with the clown since day one (by the way, i really think that there is not a single person on this board that has been down since day one)? i dont care what your answer is, just be honest and put it here.

i know what my answer is, and i will tell everyone it at a later time

If Tech signed with a major record label, say Def Jam for instance, Strange would just be a branch of it like the Ruff Ryders. If the money is there and there is an excellent contract anything could happen.

That would be some stupid shit on Tech N9ne if he did that shit. Why would he want to sign on to a bitch ass label that dont got no money to promote his shit and take less than 50% of what he sells? He owns part of strange musik he gets 50% most artist sign to a label get like 10% to 15% if that. I hope he aint down wit psychopathic records or what ever the fuck that shit is called. Getting paid by going on tours thats kool but sign to the same label. That shit aint happen.

Everybody is always saying "oh, Tech owns Strange Music, so he can go with a major record label and Strange can just be a branch of that major label". Seems like people always forget that there is another label above Tech with lots of cash called "MSC Music/Entertainment".

Don't you think that if Tech did wanna leave, he might actually be under contract with MSC?? He can't just do what the fuck he wants and jump from label to label. Strange is Tech and Travis' label; MSC is owned by Mark Scott Cerami. Allthough MSC is not a major (yet) I think it has the potential to grow and become much bigger.

I'm sure that if Tech did wanna go to a major, there might be a way out, but it might be more trouble than it's worth. He would be better off to just wait until his contract runs out. Hell, Tech is a guy who has had a lot of label stability problems in the past... I think he enjoys the stability he has now.

you people must not know how to read. what i asked was, what if he did it? what would you do? thats what i asked, and thats what i want an answer to. what i am trying to do is see just how big of a tech "fan" people are because there are people on here who think they are a huge tech fan, but they really are not. an example of this? some punk ass who would stop listening to tech or going to his shows just because he is on psychopathic. kinda like these motherfuckers on here saying they would not go to a tech show if they knew a bunch of juggalos were going to be there. thats bull shit. if you wanna support tech, then why the hell would a group of people hold you back from going? it shouldnt. me, if he signed with psychopathic, i repeat, IF HE SIGNED WITH PSYCHOPATHIC, i would still listen to him as much as i do now. and no, this isn't because i am a juggalo, he could sign onto a record lable with britney spears, hillary duff, and barney for all i care and i would still listen to him. i dont listen to tech because he is down with psychopathic, i listen to him because he is one talented mother fucker. period.

^^ moneywise he wouldn't fuck up his career, Icp makes like millions a year from merch sales alone, rapping wise yeah J would make him change his style and tech might not be the same tech we have today but moneywise tech would most likely be loaded unless Icp pulls some don king shit like they do with twiztid and take half and more.

first of all, tech is the vice president of STRANGE music, that means he is gonna be makin money on everybody who puts an album out on that label plus all the merchandise (i hope im right...) and twiztid are the biggest group on psychopatic after the clowns, do you tink they make more money than tech? i dont. and i dont know.

but it's not even about the money to us fans, i mean itbe gread to see tech prosper economically but to us it should be about the music and that's it.

Yeah I was saying if he joined psychopathic in that situation he'd either make tons off merch. or lose tons from Icp fuckin him over. Twiztid's tried to leave psychopathic so many times because Icp's takin so much from what they do and they think they deserve more money, I'm just sayin violent J would probably try to rape him of his money.
