the Bay Area in general--including beyond the Hip Hop world--usually doesnt recieve national attention. So to hear a rapper/mc shout out the bay means they've discovered something raw, and real. and it makes bay residents feel saucy...cause out here were pretty funky. the bay area aint like alotta other parts of the country. as a matter of fact, there is no other place in the world like the Bay Area. Stand up, homey.
