I heard they're trying to figure out how to throw it off course so that it'll "just miss Earth"....

They can't blow it up apprently cause it would just cause more small (not really small though) shit to hit Earth causing more damage...

In 2028 there's a total lunar eclipse...that should be a cool thing to see before we all die! LOL!

There will be a million such near missed over the coming centuries, eventually one has to hit though. Although the odds of this one getting us are astronomically small, as the authors said - the risks are extremely high. What if the world were to sit back and watch as this monster 'nearly' misses us, only to find out that our calculations were wrong and that it was indeed going to hit us. The end of life...

Sure, no need to lose sleep over it, but we should be doing a little something in preparation.

I didn't hear that, that sounds like some Sci-Fi movie shit....

Either way, if it happens, it happens. Shouldn't really worry too much about it, just live your life the best you can and help as many people as possible...well, that's just me, but whatever...

yeah, they know the deal cause they read the bible...lol...

sarcasm aside, i think Heresy has a good grasp on the current situation in our world and how it will play out in the future, but that's cause i generally think the same things.
