I posted this in another thread but, I wanted to use it as a prelude to a thought in this thread.

For one, I think the juggalo shit is all the way dumb, just some dumb fuck ass shit. Now I know for fact that Tech is impressed with the loyalty that juggalos show when they support the artists that created a dumb ass fucked up sub-culture, where it's cool to smell like shit, spray cheap ass pop on each other, and give a whole new meaning to gold teeth. Now whether we like it or not these muthafuckas have shown up in numbers at every Tech show for a while now. In reality they have probably financed the entire Everready project. Now I am not a juggalo at all, and I have been a Tech supporter for quite some time, but that nigga that we all support, is a different typa cat, and we all know that Tech prides himself on being just that, and the reality is that a whole lot of people that fell in love with the shit from the early days just don't take the time to look past the imagery, to get to the unmatched talent, that Tech possesses and that shit hurts him. Now the ICP fanbase consisting of mostly juggalos, have been looking past imagery for a long time, now I do know for fact that they werent looking past it to see talent, cause ICP obviously has none, however this "culture" is a fucking cash cow. If I remember correctly I think Tech told me when he first started doing shows with them that they had done (ICP) something like 14 million dollars in merchandise sales that year ALONE, that is a huge number for a group that doesn't really sell as much music as you would think. They are marketing genuises, no question about it. I'll tell you flat out I think Tech really loves these people, he likes to see them moshing at the show, shit he tells them to sometimes, because he likes the energy and passion these crazy ass fans give off. As far as a fan base goes that is really just group specific, it has really only one rival and those were KISS fans. Whether you like it or not, these fans are a neccessary evil right now, because most of us won't like the bandwagon jumping fans that come along once the mainstream grabs ahold of this music we have known and loved for a while either, but the reality is there isn't enough of us "regular" Tech die hards that arent juggalos right now. If this city had any real sense, this whole city could have put Tech on the map a long time ago, he is the cream of the crop, but we didn't and when Tech has to ask his black folks to come back to his shows and see what this shit is about, rather than what they think it is or what they hear the music is now, is a fuckin joke. They should have been around the whole time, and there wouldn't have been enough room for these stank ass smelly muthafuckas to mosh and mess up the show I wanna see. So they are here now, and they arent gonna leave, the fan base will, scare some people off, and that sucks but hey, if I were Tech I would love the support too. So like I said a long time ago, give me my space at the show, don't get no muthafuckin pop on me and keep your stank ass snaggle tooth bitch over there, keep on supporting the homie so he can get the recognition he deserves, and I hope all of you juggalos are sterile.

My two cents.

As unique as Tech is, his fan base is really something to behold, I can't think of another artist that has as diverse a fanbase as Tech. The difference in the "regular" Tech fans and the "juggalos" is hugely different than, say bloods that won't listen to snoop, but will listen to artists that claim to be bloods themselves, because gangs are generally people of similar backgrounds, that have chosen sides, that genuinely dislike eachother. However the obvious hate that us "regular" Tech fans have for juggalos is growing by the day. As I said up top I don't really care about them. There is an obvious concern that shows are "going down hill" as quoted in another thread, like they are stepping across lines that they shouldn't, shit they love this music just like us, they are just so much different than us that our styles will clash when we all show up to celebrate the shit.

This makes me wonder. Could this in some way be marketed? I mean think about it, what artist do you know that has two fanbases that are almost independent of one another, that it almost deserves outright recognition. Could they have a juggalo side where they could do what they want without affecting the show for other people and a veteran side,or maybe just sell tickets to a moshing area and put it up front but off to the side, cause if they are moshing, they can't be watching the fucking show anyway. That would let the people that are there to watch the show be right where they need to be for the best view. I say this because its obvious that trouble could be on the horizon. There are shootings and shit at all kinds of shows, but I know there are people that are going to shows just wanting to whip some juggalo ass. Now to the marketing side, maybe juggalo tech n9ne shirts, and (for lack of a better term) "veteran" shirts, maybe a t-shirt with tech's face split in half, with a side being juggalo like, and a regular side. There are a million possibilities to market the differences between the two with the tie in being the music that can captivate people that are soooooo fucking different. It's a very unique situation.

I could just imagine if Tech did his show with Paul Wall in K.C. where every gangsta ass nigga, and mainstream music fan, in the city would mesh with these juggalos, it could get ugly.

Any ideas?

These ideas might be able to keep JL from snapping one day and trying to kill all of them.

The only idea I can see possibly poppin off is the merchandise idea. The dividing of the crowds for selling tickets will never fly due to possible loss in sales IMO. Not a bad idea I just don't see it ever working out. I'm with ya though when it all boils down to the moshing part, thats the only thing I can't stand anymore at the Tech shows. I'm down for it all at rock shows, but the majority of the people don't want that shit interferring w/ enjoyin the dope ass show that they always put on. Luckily I've never been around a show where people claim that the buildings been stunk up by Juggs, so I have no comment on that part. As long as shits all controlled I say let it be.

I never said I was anti-juggalo, I don't like to do the shit they do, they don't like to do the shit we do. They are still fans. If they were dumping truck loads of money into your pockets, you wouldn't say that.

I know its not just the money for Tech, although I know it plays some part, he loves the juggs because, they are not judgemental at all about anything otherwise they would all kill themselves, but I know he likes thier dedication.

touchy subject. Its a tough one cause when you look at comparing ICP and tech n9ne the only thing they have in common is that they are both surreal, but tech is REAL and ICP talk too much fantasy raps but the music itself is actually pretty good, Im not a Fan per-say but I know why they have an audience and I respect em. kids actin a ass by sprayin soda all over & shit like that, well that needs too be treated on a personal basis not this group or that group obviously but you guys are sayin that only juggalos do ignorant ass shit like this at shows. so like I said, touchy subject and I really hope Tech steps up and does whatever it takes too illiminate the problem at hand, only he can really address this and get somewhere with it!@ good luck tech, lol.

The comparison is not about Tech and ICP, the spotlight is really being put on how Tech's music is transcendant in a special way, ICP's music doesn't appeal to original Tech fans as a whole, Tech had a fan base before the juggalos came. ICP's fanbase are 99% juggalos. So the acceptance of how they listen to music at shows is what most of us don't want to adjust to. I believe like I said, they are a necessary evil right now.

Alright, I think the juggalo shit is totally wack, and as I've seen a lot people on here don't like em either. I'm sure Tech fucks with for many of reasons, the luv he gets from them, the money, you know whatever. Honestly I think the whole juggalo shit isnt about the music at all, for one look at who they listen to them dudes have never put out a hit or anything like that. All the juggalos care about is how sicc and crazy the rapper is or the rhymes I'm not talkin about talent wise, its more on grossness and shit like that, or how many people they are gonna kill in one song you know the "wicked shit". Majority of them would've never heard of Tech if he didn't go on tour with ICP, and they saw that Tech was "wicked" like them, and so they liked him. What if Tech had gone on tour with them, and Tech played a lot of club songs for them, you think they would've still like him or shown him the same luv they do now? Who knows? I remember I went to a show here in Colorado a few months back, and the shit was off the chain. I was walking out and I walked by this juggalo dude, he was like "awww when Tech did his part of serial killaz man that was the best part of show" I was like what man the whole show was awesome. Its like you can't look at the bigger picture, was that all you cared about, you can't realize thats as good as it get talent wise. I might catch some shit for this, but I don't think juggalo fans realize or see how much talent Tech has, compared to none juggalos fans. Tech does have a very diverse fan base, from gangstaz to wack juggalos, and what you're seeing is the juggalos brings there shit into Tech concerts like the moshing they must do in juggalo concerts. Now you have Tech and Paul Wall fan base, you know it could get interesting who knows?

The idea of this thread was to get suggestions based on information and opinions, to make things amicable enough to turn this gap into a positive for Tech and Strange music, rather than the train wreck between the different kinds of fans that seems to be inevitable.
