When did a large percentage of the people on this board decide they were going to turn around and start talking shit about every little aspect of Strange Music? I see a large amount of new members doing it, and am pretty surprised to see a number of oldschool members knocking the most mundane of shit. I mean, if you don't like an artist or an album, that's one thing. But how are you going to turn around and tell Strange that they're assholes because of who they tour with, who they don't tour with, who they feature, who they don't feature, what songs they are or aren't featured on, etc.??? WTF is wrong with you people.

The one thing that's really getting to me the most is the people talking shit about the Strange Noise tour.

You people are fucking idiots.

I really feel for all of you who have seen Tech so many times that you can just say "fuck it" because you don't like the other acts. Boo-hoo for you.

"I wouldn't go if it were free".

Well I would, and I'm GOING, and I'm going to PAY for it. So fuck you, you fucking squares.

"Oh I won't go because (insert music act here) is going to be there"...

WTF?

So is Tech N9ne. That's like saying "Well I was gonna go to the Guns N Roses concert, but Sebastian Bach is one of the openers so fuck that shit". Sounds like some shit I heard in middle school from some kid when I told him I was going to the Metallica concert. He was like "Oh Metallica sold out, they're fags".

Yeah, they sold out allright. And you couldn't afford one of the tickets so you choose to talk shit.

I don't give a fuck who Tech shows up with. That shit is so stupid to me. I don't know KMK from a hole in the wall to be honest. I know a couple of kids that thought they were cool because they listened to them in HS some 7-8 years ago. They might be good for all I know.

It's not even like they're asking 60 bucks for a ticket, (although I don't know what a "VIP" ticket runs) so what's the big deal? I paid 25 bucks for the last show, and spent more on train fare just to get to/from. I'd say it's worth it. It's not as if I went to see Paul Wall, that's for sure, but I had a great time.

A lot of you people are on some stupid shit lately.

That's understandable, because it's true.

On an unrelated note, I just noticed that in my sig, I'm the Democrat and L.D.S. is the Republican. Any reason for that Fastfitzy?

On a related note, I think it's a matter of a lack of appreciation.

Edit:
I think assholes is a little too much though. There is no need for that. Tell them what is on your mind without throwing a little stab in there. However harmless the intention, it can be interpreted as a blatant insult.

Definitely. After seeing Tech live (finally) I'm BACK into that shit the way I used to be a million years ago when I was helping out with promo. I just think that it's sad to see people I know from way back when going "aaahhh... they were nice enough to let me in for free last time, but I've had enough of that... I'm not going".

Fuck. You wanna let me into the Tech show for free? Yeah I'll be there. And if I'm NOT going to be there, I certainly wouldn't talk down about the whole thing on the internet. You want me to pay, I'll still most likely be there.

This forum is starting to piss me off like it used to.

Two-Face is the perfect example of a Republican, and Po is for the opposite party. I thought you knew dat dawg. Besides, who's gonna believe that a panda that specializes in martial arts is a republican? Politics, politics.

I'm a fan of the KC Chiefs. So I discuss with my friends their draft picks and offseason moves. And when the season comes I discuss play calls and the decisions the coaches make and everything else. Sometimes I am disappointed and upset, and sometimes I am very happy with how things are going. Does that make me less of a fan, or a terrible supporter? Not at all. In fact, I would say that makes me a better fan.

I'm a fan of Strange Music and Tech N9ne. So often times I discuss the moves Strange Music makes with forum members. Sometimes I am disappointed and upset with the choices made, and other times I am incredibly pleased. This makes me a better supporter, not a worse one.

I understand the complaining can get out of hand around here. But you know why we complain sometimes? Because we are PASSIONATE about the product and about Strange Music, and I think that's something that Travis and Tech N9ne can appreciate.

So Zero, we are not fucking idiots. You're the idiot if you are just gonna be happy with everything they do. That doesn't inspire progress or positive change. Get off your soapbox.

not to involve my own political views, but i imagined the panda taking his other hand and smashing that little donkey, it was just about the imagery, and the two-face comment someone made should not have been directed at republicans because the last i checked all politicians are two faced

My argument is that I live in Columbia MO and over the last 5 years I have seen 8 or 9 tech shows. Tech comes here twice a year and out of all of the shows I've seen I've had the worst experience with the Subnoize tour. Yes tech tore it up, but I couldn't stand kmk and I couldn't stand the fans that showed up for KMK. I know that no matter what this show will sell out so I have no problem waiting 6 months and seeing tech when it's all strange.

The only problem I have is which show to go to. The Summer Jam or Strange Noize. I will probably go to Strange Noize because it will be a better show. When will the Strange only tour start?

And if tickets to the Chiefs were 25 bucks, and they only played home games once every few months (if you're lucky), would you decide that you didn't want to go to the game because of who's sitting on the bench? Or would you decide to go because of who was going to be on the field?

So Zero, we are not fucking idiots. You're the idiot if you are just gonna be happy with everything they do. That doesn't inspire progress or positive change. Get off your soapbox.
You obviously missed the point.

That's a perfect example of what I'm talking about. You guys are fucking SPOILED, and take shit for granted. I would sit through any bullshit to go see a Tech show, because I don't get the option of "well Tech will be doing another show in 5 days anyway so fuck it." And some of you are turning down FREE tickets! LoL.

Sad.

Lame. I guess you'll be excited when someone like Prozak opens up.

I go to shows all the time where I don't like the opening bands. I go to the bar when these guys are on stage. A concert isn't something to go to and critique, you should be having fun. Go drink asshole.
