Me n my bro in law were kicking it with his boy n E40. Then when we left his crib n went 2 tha studio (me n bro n his boy james) Dre was there n i was in shock cuz i had never been that close to him b4. this was about in 99. He later asked my bro if it was kool if i smoked with them n shit. my bro said aight n then Dre sparked up n passed me a sweet. Tha 1st tyme i eva got high or even smoked nething. Dre did alot of shit 4 people also. I was short 1 day n he came through with sum endz 4 a ps2. He was a kool ass cat. Rest In Paradise Mac Dre

if i can remember clearly, this was helta long ago it was me Andre, E and other cats in Portland for a show and they were just blazin' weed and I remember them asking me if I seen what M.D. was doing in Gilroy the week before like:"Olivia, did you see that stupid ass dance Mac Dre was doing?" I was like "yeah--wtf was that shit?" Niggas was dying in their seats thinking about it, but Lil did we know...it eventually became the infamous "Thizz Dance."
my friend told me a story about how he went to a mac dre concert but the microphones werent working and the concert got all fucked up, but he heard there was an after party, and he went to the travel lodge hotel and saw mac dre in the lobby and said "whats up mac dre! want to smoke some weed?" and mac dre said "hell yeah" and they smoked and hung out togeather, and my friend sold him a mix cd he made for 10 dollars because mac dre said "that has all my favorite songs on it" and there were girls everywhere and then my friend showed me his autographed copy of the rompolation. later my friend got hired to make artwork for thizz entertainment and got like 50 dollars for whatever artwork mac dre liked, he said he also hung out with him at a radio station and my friend brought alot of girls with him and mac dre shook his hand for it.
I saw Dre back in 97 at the rock candy in seattle. It was at a record release party for N2DEEPs golden state album. He was doing a song that had levitti on it. I don't know what that song is called because I have never heard it since.
Then in 99 I was kickin it with kevin gardner and redwine and they got me Mac Dre and Mac Malls Autographs. When I got to the show some mark had shot it up so Mac Mall never got to perform. That was on my birthday and shit. So since I didn't get to see them Kevin hooked me up with that.
Man to be real at those times I really wasn't feelin Dre's music but when I found the original BART site this cat was talkin about that "Rainin Game" song. I had that on a 12" but never really listened to it. After I heard that song man it was on! I had a lot of catching up to do. That cat really was amazing. It sucks now because now cats are going to act like they was Dre fans from day one. I wonder what his soundscans are like right now. I have seen a gang of his albums posted up on internet sites that never had him on there before. The record industry is a bunch of fuckin blood suckers man.

I had the honor of kickin' it with Mac Dre in Reno - Hot August Nights 2003 (last year)... in me and my folks suite @ the Silver Legacy. I was woken up around 6am to Mac Dre dancing on the side of my bed... trying to wake us up... where me and a couple of my folks was sleeping... -- we had folks that were chillen in the living room... and my boy Silas had brought Mac Dre through to our suite... I ended up getting up and chillen... Mac Dre was chillen choppin it with me... got hyphy as hell on the camera... found out it was my birthday and rapped me a birthday song... his charisma is unexplainable... you think watching the Treal TV dvd is entertaining -- chill with Dre in person. I can still vividly remember that morning/day... he was wearing his Burberry fisher's hat and the matching long sleeved shirt.
I remember me and my girl Jo Jo had left him in our suite and went downstairs to grab something to drink and came downstairs looking for us about 10 minutes later... talkin' bout how were we going to leave him upstairs with a sausage fest and something about don't ever let his boys find out cuz they would think somethings funny.

I have a few memorable Dre moments, I was able to chop it up with him a few times at shows and blaze.... the first show I went to was in Sac @ the colonial theatre he was performin FIRE and when that shit came on I was right in front I broke out my blunts fired one up and I handed it to Dre, then I got to go out back and fire up anotha one with him he was hillarious crackin jokes at the security dude and he asked where I was from I told him "u couldnt bust a grape in napa valley with golf shoes on" he gave a big ass smile and said right on cutty ..... then this summer I was out in Sac hittin up the bars and all that and my homie told me that Dre and his crew was out and about sideshowin it up so we rolled up and by that time it was about finished so we bounced to smoke and we were @ this liqour store grabbin a blunt when I was payin I hear the door open and some one let out a loud YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I turned around and it was Dre comin in to buy blunts and munchies and he signed my Recognize The Bay shirt ........... Oh and another moment the first time i saw Yukmouths UGA lol i was rollin when i saw Dre in night vision in the studio with Yuk and he's doin the Thizz dance and he says "WE MAKE SHIT UP TO DO" also in the uga dvd when Bart and Dre are clownin on each other that shit is fuckin hillarious BA - "with them extra smedium snoop dogg edition jeans" ....... Classic memories
Not too long ago Dre performed at Mission Rock. Me and some of my homies showed up, one of my boys got turned down at the door for not bein in dress code. So he goes home and changes, and comes back, and right when hes commin in Mac Dre pulls up to the rock, right up to the side where they are checkin people at the door, and just hops out of the car and leaves it there and walks in, even though its a red zone and theres a shitload of grimy lookin muthafuckas who woulda loved to get their hands on a Benz with some Sprees.
Me and my boy are chillin out on the back deck and see Mr. Furly walkin in with a stupid ass reporter hat or something similar like he was wearin on Ronald Dregan. He came in and everyone on the deck parted like the Red Sea or something; Dre walks through with his hands in front of him, waving them furiously up and down together, never going above his chest or below his stomach with his arms. It was crazy. The only thing I can compare it to is the way you see the little stick arms on a TRex dinosaur or something! He shook a couple of hands and immediately found this table in the corner of the club and hopped on top of it and started doin the bird like he owned the fuckin place. Needless to say, for me it was like some real life treal TV shit.
As a crowd gathered around him and people started to roll inside, these two dudes next to us were like "man what a stupid ass nigga!" and me and my homies were like "yea, hes a stupid ass nigga but he can do whatever the fuck he wants cause hes Mac Mutha Fuckin Dre!" We all laughed and rolled inside the club. I remember it like it was yesterday.

i got the chance to meet him 1 time. it was around january 04' a couple months after AL boo boo came out, my potna sal worked at rasputins in san lorenzo not to far from my house. he calls me around 7pm and says "guess whos here, mac dre. know body even recongnizes him, he in line with another dude buyin a cd, hurry up before he leave" cause he knew dre was my favorite rapper. so me and my cuzo and my 3 yr old son bounce hella fast and for got the camera, all i had in the car was the original rompalation 1. so we pull in and i see Mac dre puttin somthin in his trunk, he had hella 10' in his truck it looked clean.he turns around cause he heard us knockin that "What we do" and he start gettin hyphy and we was dancin,gettin hyphy to. we get out and walk to the benz and dre like "wats goin on mayn" he shook our hand, we chop it up fo a min. he was hella cooh, we caught him leavin and he stood there to talk to his fans. he was just hella cheesin like he was happy we knew who he was you feel me cause everybody was just walkin buy not knowin. he ask us if we had any trees and it already smelled like hella bomb in his car, i said "wat you doin up here dre" he said "buyin my nigga luni coleon cd" he even talked on the nextel to my potna cause he didnt believe we were choppin it up wit dre. then he signed the rompalation cd. he put "to my nigg AL, MAC mutha fuckin DRE 2K4" he had the wood grain spinnas. his car was hella dirty, wen he was leavin my cusin said "dirty as hell like fuck a detail" u know from boss tycoon, Dre was hella laughin. im glad i got to meet my nigga 1 time in this life.
Lets see...it was last summer and i was at a family gathering (Dre's brothers grad party)and we were eatin laughin clownin all the usual....12am rolls around and were all talkin about hittin up cache creek, Dre,Rich,Dosia,Wanda a few others and myself...and wanda says its too late to go up there unless we got rooms...so someone calls and theer booked up and next thing you know Dre stands up and says "Give me the phone...ill get us a room...you got to know the chief"...wanda asks who's the chief and he says i dont know chief but i know his head engine...and i started laughin my ass off just the way he was sayin teh shit....
1st time i met Dre was in rodeo/hercules at burger king right off the willow ave rodeo exit. i was at BK with like 4/5 of my niggaz and its funny cuz we juss got done watchin that treal tv the day b4 and one of my patnaz neva really knew wna Dre looked like till we he seen treal tv. we all sittin down im wit my back 2 da window and this white girl walk in my nigga like wus happen'n trynna get at her but she juss kept walkin and went to the bathroom then Dre walk in and my nigga like "aint that wus his name" i turn around and see and like mac dre wussup wit it. he shake our hand ask us where we from juss choppin it up like a real nigga then my patna tell him he gotta cuzzin locked up in jail that got heat and how we freestyled a whole album Dre was like yup fasho then ordered his food and came back 2 us and wrote his numba down on a napkin and told my nigga 2 tell his cuzzin when he get out holla at him. then we go outside and see that benz wit the spinnaz on it with the fuckin woodgrain in them lookin so clean. we tell'em he clean he was like "u know how bay niggaz gotta stunt on niggaz" we look in the car and we see da same white girl that my nigga tried 2 holla at in Dre car. then we went back inside till his nigga came inna chevy van 20 yoke'n when he seen dre and dre start hittin his dances........ 1st time i met that man he hella cooh
Got dammit, I never seen Dre, I enjoyed readin ch'alls stories though. Only chance I had to see him was at a record store I've been anticipatin' to hit up 2 weeks prior. When the time comes I get to the record store a little early and there's mafuckas everywhere, inside the store is packed, hella mafuckas outside smokin'. Then I hear a dude say "Man Mac Dre ain't gonna be here til 3 more hours" I was like FUCK cuz I had to get back to my town dammit. I couldn't wait that long so I bounced, I was pissed cuz they said he was gonna be there at this specific time and he come 3 hours later dammit.
