Yes King Freako was ahead of his time out here in Pittsburg. He was the first cat to get out there, he was one of the first treal niggas to get with MAC DRE! He is a role model out here, plus ARSENAL is related to him, So YES, he is a Student Of King Freako......

R.I.P. KING FREAKO--We all miss you!

This album, is surely Arsenal's best work so far!!

Off top, yeah, he was that big. He was that big w/out rap music. He was a true Hood Super Star. His music was only a small reflection of that because he didn't get to make enough of it. As far as Arsenal, he was right under the wing of the dude so that's him keeping King's name in the street, keepin The King alive! You made the remark as if dudes is dick ridin...That's fam biz my dude...

Mars, Pimp, KhameNei, Ceza, LethaFace that's the biz! Montae, keep it true to it on that Documentary...I'm sure you will.

Real talk, though, this project Arsenal put out is not a gimmick. Its not a means to sell units, its not about gettin on the bandwagon like a lotta cats do Freako, Mac Dre and others after they pass. Keepin' Chico alive in spirit is really what Ars is about. He's about that in everything he does. There's not even a lotta references to King on the album, its just Arsenal displayin what he soaked comin up under him and dudes like 'em..."Walk wit me talk me/Follow my dream/I'm a student of the late great Freako King..."

This is good music, though...Check out the links in the first post...

I listened to the snippets at cdbaby.com, it`s sounds real decent. By the way, wasn`t Arsenal a member of the Pueblo Indians? If so, how`s that "Project Nomad"- album?
