method man as part of the clan is tight, but as a solo artist, he just aint that tight. Redman is pretty tight. I think together they make good music too.

redman is alright but I think meth is a real good lyricalist but I have that blackout album they did a while back and it has some alright songs but I rather see meth by himself.

Yup, like Lawz said, the production kept BLACKOUT from being as dope as it could have been. Lyrically, their chemistry's tight. As solo artists, though, Red is better than Meth overall (so far...I think Meth could make a classic solo CD if he wanted)...

PEACE!

I like Red more as a solo artist. Meth seems to be better at dropping verses rather than constructing a whole solo album. Which is why he puts out a good single or two but the rest of the album is usually weak AND those singles usually have a colabo with someone.

The Red and Meth as a group, they're cool. But they're more novelty than worthy of a whole album together. Good on eachother's albums, good on other people's albums, good for a single or a track on a compiliation. But a whole album gets to be too much.

Not really anymore! Red and Meth suck now ever since they put out that lame ass TV show. Played out sell outs!!! and for anyone still willing to cop Meth's new joint TICAL 0, ya didnt miss anything thats dope and shit. He just completely wasted all his time to finally come out with another joint and it all sucked. I havent really been feelin their music ever since they came out with Blackout and Redman's Malpractice joint...

Yeah....that Redman/Method Man CD "Blackout" is a classic in my book. One of the top 10 CD's to come out. When that came out in 99, I bumped that for at least 6 months straight. I still bump it once in a while. "Serial Killers" is the tightst track on that CD.

Method & Red are a great colab on any song. Their first colab "How High" Remix is a classic track too. I would like to see another Meth/Red CD.
